I am still awestruck watching & listening to the song and watched it a few times! First thing I became emotional on the tribute for SPB Sir! My favourite singer from the day I start hearing the movie songs on our old Philips radio in my house. I maybe around 5yrs of age at that time in 1970’s. I will run towards radio and listen to that voice and such was the effect of his singing on my mind… SPB Sir is in me all the time… so nothing wondering in becoming emotional and I want to thank the entire team on bringing out that lovely emotional feeling for SPB Sir🙏 When watching Nadian playing so many instruments without a glitch and keeping that original song tempo right from beginning to end was beyond words! Amirthavarshini’s singing with that sweet voice and sweet smile on her face was so pleasing to ears and eyes! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 It was magical to watch the entire song and looks like done with ease but how much of creativity, effort and hard work should have been put behind this making?? How is it possible for a family to be multi talented in music like this? How did you guys manage to create the music and mix it so well? Editing those bits and create that magical effect? Eppadi paneenga? Etlaga chesaru? The question keeps raising in my mind… Salute to the team for their passion in music and deserve a standing applause 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Finally about the creator of this music Maestro Ilayaraja Sir! Aaahhhh SPB sir, why did you leave us?? 😥😢😢😭 Miss you dearly, every moment since that miserable day, how can I forget when for the first time in my life my heart nearly stopped.... I felt like a rock has been pressed to my heart as soon as I heard those undeniable words from my parents.... no, I can never forget. And I can never forget the legend who has done such incredible feats over the years, he is still living in our hearts I know, I’m still in denial of his passing, because he will never pass in our hearts that’s for sure, as long as people can hear, he will never fade, his voice shall never be forgotten. Some incredible things I would love to share about our SPB sir: 1. He was a prolific and versatile singer, who has sung over an impressive 40,000 songs 2. He won a total of 6 National Awards (I think to my knowledge!) 3. He is a posthumous Padma Vibhushan recipient (though I personally think he deserves the Bharat Ratna actually!) 4. Records he made in a DAY: 19 or 20 songs in Tamil 16 songs in Hindi 21 songs in Kannada in 12 hours (8am to 9pm!) 5. He sang in a total of 16 different languages in a span of 50 years And so much more is our singing legend... He shall be sorely missed 😢😥😥😭 Personal favourites of mine are: Idho idho en pallavi Oh Butterfly Mannil Indha Kaadhal Sangeetha Jaathi En Jodi Manja Kuruvi (this beautiful recreation!) Uchi Vaguntheduthu Kaadhalin deepam (the first song I listened as soon as he went to God 😭😢) A lot more others too! I can’t count the number of songs I love so much! 😍 No crying, I know, because he wouldn’t want us to cry, he would want us to stay happy, like the selfless sweet soul he was and still is in our hearts... so I won’t cry, let’s all celebrate his achievements instead forever 🥳🥳😍😍🎆🎆🌠🌠🌌🌌 Love you SPB sir forever, you always have a special place in our hearts... ❤️❤️❤️🌠 And now for my praises to this wonderful music family: First of all a huge thank you for doing this special song, it’s one of my favourites, in my house we play this particular song often! My heart was about to stop honestly! It took days to get distracted from that sorrowful mood! 😔😢 What a voice, Uncle! I mean, we first need conviction inside ourselves to sing this song.
