Tony did in one episode but everyone in the time tunnel complex was suspended in time due to a freak time warp so Tony had to go back.

SPOILER ALERT! Only one season was made, although a second was planned. Therefore, at the end of the last episode, they returned to the location of the first episode, to the Titanic: and here it ends, with a cliffhanger... And yes, the previous comment is also true.
