Sherlock Holmes Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law Interview

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are the new dynamic duo in the action packed, and often funny, Sherlock Holmes. Downey and Law star in the detective caper as Detective Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. The actors, who had never met prior to being cast together, got along famously. Their chemistry in the film is absolutely magical! Tribute's Bonnie Laufer had the opportunity to chat with both Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law in London, England about taking on these infamous characters, how they established their wonderful chemistry and how Jude Law is handling his brand new nickname!

I loved that Jude would say "truly" when he agreed with something. He sounds so real and honest and genuine when he says that, rather than "yeah" or "sure" or "yep" or something. He sounds like a lovely human being.

Rdj having his hands in the back of Jude Law's chair reminded me of his interview with Tom Hiddleston where he also has his hands on the back of Tom's chair. Maybe he has a penchant for those kind of gestures.

EraltOkami good eye on that, .. Rdj knows that jude law is not sold with him in some type of capacity. Rdj placing his hand on chair is a gesture of control or to see how the flow freelance will be between law & his self. I see a lot of actors do this. Usually Alpha Males do it but females do it to. Instead of looking straight at the interviewer that pivot there posture towards the person there sitting by.

Why do people even feel the need to compare them to Benedict and Martin? They each play the character rather differently, so it is a matter of opinion. Personally, although I adore the show Sherlock and Benedict, I think these two are amazing together, and are both incredibly hot.

The interviewer asked Jude Law how he felt about the fact someone called him HOTson instead of Watson because of his good looks and he replied he was to busy getting used to his moustaches to care for that. The RDJ added that he was so fond of Jude with moustache that he couldn't recognize him without them once they wrapped the movie.

I want a THIRD movie! "Sherlock Holmes" and "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows" were both instant classics! These two were fantastic! So completely entertaining, and acting was spot on when I think of a more "visceral" Holmes, and a totally non-buffonish Dr. Watson (who is as cool as can be). These two have created something very special, and I REALLY HOPE there will be third film. I'm losing hope, though, since the latter of the two was made in 2011...probably not going to happen :(

I know this has been said a thousand times already, but seriously... Look at the body language of those two. Jude is acting as a teenager with a crush, avoiding looking at Robert, blushing, stuttering and being restless during the entire interview. Robert has his hand on Jude's chair in every.single.interview. And have you seen the way he stares at Jude when he talks? Looks like he's drinking his every word... I don't think there's anything between them, but I wish, oh how I wish ;)

I have seen an interview with Robert and Zach Galifianakis: whom he starred with in Due Date, and there was hardly any chemistry between them what so ever but with Robert & Jude there is loads of chemistry there to be seen. And I think that is what makes these kinds of interviews fun to watch because of that bond between two incredible actors.
