I’ve been dealing with this for 6yrs now. Only have I found it’s name now by visiting a Trichologist. Everything I’ve tried has not worked. Praying I can keep my hair and it goes away

Unfortunately after seeing 3 dermatologists and 2 neurologist they can't find an answer. The pain is getting worse and I'm hearing a popping noise like fireworks coming from my hair when I go to sleep. I've been dealing with this for over a year now and I have to sleep in a chair every night just to get sleep. I appreciate your video... I'm convinced now their is no cure and I have to live with this Condition. May Allah deliver from this curse one day 🙏

Sorry to hear of the symptoms you are experiencing. You could try some of the treatments mentioned in the video. Maybe ask the Gp to prescribe it for you.

Might be worth giving up all sugar and gluten and see if that helps. Helps me a lot. I recently had something that I think had gluten and it came back

@@user-hp6ls8qy6d Dietary factors do play a role in some. Gluten allergy can also cause itchy and irritable skin so worthwhile excluding for a month to see if it is effective.

I just came across this very useful video (thank you Dr) searching for answers to my scalp pain too. I have the same symptoms I cannot even put my head on my pillow as it pains. The hair root/scalp pains on the crown of my head every day and it's worse when my hair gets greasy and itchy. However, symptoms don't always improve after washing my hair either. I keep changing shampoos just brought a scalp scrub/cleaner too (not harsh) invested in natural hair care. No painkillers help either and I'm now referred to a neurologist for blood tests and a CT scan by my GP as he couldn't see anything wrong with the scalp skin hence couldn't refer me to a dermatologist. I'm sorry to hear about your suffering too may Allah grant you with shifa too inshallah. Do you have long or short hair? Do you have any mental health problems? I suffer with depression and anxiety and stress. I'm now thinking of cutting off my very long hair to help manage things but I don't want to 😢 my hair has thinned due to other reasons so it's not thick but wondering if the length contributes to the weight. Hate to cut my hair short took me 3yrs to grow it all the way down my back again 🥹 I'm also a victim of sihr from many years and my life keeps getting worse I have many blockages including physical, mental health, financial all sorts. May Allah curse the culprits who practice black magic 🧙‍♀️😢

i believe this is candida of the scalp you will see small white balls not flakes, like dried shampoo. clay treatment of scalp will help and sulfer 8 grease

Hi, the diagnosis can be delayed and the treatment of this condition can be variable in each person. There is no harm in trying to keep the hair short but it is not a guarantee that it will get rid of the symptoms completely. It may be worthwhile looking at some of the treatments mentioned in the video. Your local dermatologist or general practitioner can help you with these medications.

Im 95% sure this is what is wrong with me. Only issue is I don’t want to go to a doctor that is unfamiliar with Trichodynia. But since we don’t have much knowledge of it I cant find a doctor who is familiar. Willing to travel anywhere in the US, if you know a good doctor please lmk

I live in the southern part of the US in Dallas, TX. But I work for the airlines so traveling to any doctor in the US who can help me best with Trichodynia or similar disorders is no biggie.

Hello, most dermatologists will be able to diagnose and treat trichodynia as it is part of the skin conditions they encounter on a regular basis. Those with an interest in hair conditions may be better. I do not know any specific doctor in Kerala but most dermatologists in big cities will definitely be able to help you.
