Hey Paulie, l get what you're saying. After a loss, you shouldn't get a world title shot. He was supposed to get the Lubin fight, but Lubin pulled out for whatever reason. As Tszyu has always said, he wants to remain active. Bring on the fights, Tim.

Tim and his brother Nikita are unique, they are different than the average American boxer, they have a different mindset, and I am a bigger fan of these two young men than I was of their father. Kostya was great but it was a different time, my favorite memory of him was the KO of Zab Judah, what a night that was.

The reason he is getting a title shot is because it wasn't really a loss, only on the record books, anyone with two eyes could see he was destroying fundora until the cut and even then had the better power shots, while fundora sat there and only jabbed. So exceptions are fine, if he actually was outperformed then it would be a different story, everyone knows if he fought fundora again it would be a whitewash or he would be put asleep.

4 times a year is great - but be smart - 2 x title fights at 154 - and then the other fights could be 10 rounds, dipping the toe into 160 pounds or a catch weight of around that - so Tszyu isn't pushing to make 154 every camp and also as a chance to feel the power & resistance of a middleweight before he moves up permantly He could finally fight Zerafa here in Australia (although Tim seems adamant he doesn't want to give Zerafa the pay day) or 10rounds against Liam Smith or Liam Williams in the UK would probably be worth a million or two - Brit fight fans wouldn't care about titles they'd just love the scap

Tszyu was in negotiations with Crawford after Spence dropped from the rematch clause and then out of nowhere came the PBC announcement of Tszyu vs Thurman. Then Thurman fell out and was replaced with Fondora. The WBO ordered the winner to face Crawford. Spence then tweeted he wanted the winner of Tszyu/Fondora and Tszyu's team said they would be willing to drop the belt to face Spence instead of Crawford. There's articles on Boxingscene saying all of this. Its easy to follow.

There's more to it behind the scenes than what you call a duck.. Tszyu ducks no one. Crawford most probably was asking huge $$$ coming off the Spence win and Spence bag 💰during talks that no promoter Tszyu Team "No Limit Boxing / PBC etc" gonna pay to lose money so they went with Thurman / Fundora as Bud was also contracted to Spence rematch and Tszyu was not waiting around for that sh*t show to be resolved. which in the end took along time to sort due to Spence... Bud's Turki card was stacked "and they still lost a lot of money. Bud doesn't sell or bring in crowds unfortunately.... That's why most want to fight Spence to get a nice bag 💰... Spence sells / Fill Dallas Stadium $$$ When Tszyu gets that IBF Belt we will see what happens but Turki will have to pay Tszyu very well and not $750k what Mardimov earned vs Bud $2.5mill. Tszyu makes $4-5 mill fighting in Australia.. Guarantee/ Gate - PPV Percentage/ Sponsors as his a huge star in OZ and definitely won't be fighting for chump change.
