i have not a super-vision , i found the practical/easiest respond is attacking the ball to kill the spin thus impose my own ...practice is the secret ingredient .Thanks Craig&Tom.

I think it takes a lot of time and talent to master those complex kind of movements. It is by far not as easy as it seems. May be worth the effort though, resulting in opponent's mistakes giving you an edge in critical situations. I wish I had Craig's abilities, but he is a pro and I am not for a reason.

Thanks for your tips, but when we try to make the serve deceptive then we put more effort to make the spin fake than to spin the ball. I tried to make the serve deceptive but it goes as float.
@craigyb225 жыл бұрын
Rosy Biswas First thing is to make sure you impart the spin before you try and move off. Then slowly improve the speed of the deceptive movement.

But if you play with a good opponent, he can flick/top spin the ball regardless what kind of spin applied
@TomLodziak5 жыл бұрын
Of course. But if your opponent mis-reads the spin, he will flick in the wrong way and make a mistake. This is why deception can be so effective.

I’ve seen even world top players receive a serve and the ball just skyrockets to be smashed or just falling off the table directly. It can definitely happen and not too rare.

Very good video again. :-) But I don`t like "serve cheaters" because I can`t read the kind of the spin and make a lot of mistakes to play back the ball. Sometimes the serve is so fast, that you can´t see the contact point of the ball and react not correctly. How can I learn to read the serves much better?

Sometimes I think we should return to hard simple bats with little or no spin. It would make the game more of a sport and less about this kind of slightly devious trickery.

He threw the ball side ward, not straight up. That’s illegal!
@TomLodziak5 жыл бұрын
The toss has to be "near vertically". It's a vague rule. Many pro players toss the ball like Craig.
