I know I'm not the only one, when hearing those extra G major chord notes played, started singing "I've got sunshine on a cloudy day". :)

I can feel the absolute struggle you have of explaining theory in a relevant way for us all to understand. Truthfully, I doubt there is a perfect way to do it, but you keep trying and that's why we appreciate you so much. Thanks Sean!

The pentatonic scale is very similar to the One of the beautiful Indian Classical Music Raga BHOOP. I am so amazed while listening and relating both. The Oneness of musical language ❤

Hey Sean love your videos, and you’ve helped me raise my game, at least I feel I’ve raised my game. I also love the way you nonchalantly go past the tiny, minuscule mistakes you obviously seldom make. Now excuse me if I’m wrong, but at about 1:30 into the video, I feel you’re trying to trick us into thinking you’re playing a C chord, when you actually play a G chord, and vice versa 😇 I play Elexir strings too, and love them. Many thanks for the Videos, your humor, and everything ❤️

Yeah, he was walking thorugh the chords, but accidentally swopped the C and G chords when saying them. I didn't find that it impacted me other than to notice - "wait... Oh, I see..."

I bought Elixir strings (12S) but my old hands got tired really quick and got hand cramps - so I bought(10s) but made the mistake of buying electric strings - but I put them on and they sound really good and are really easy to play and bend

I like noodling around in the keys of G, C, and D because they are the only keys that include all the open strings. It’s like bowling with those inflatable bumpers.

Doesn't a major chord contain the 1st, 3rd, and 5th notes of a major scale and not the 1st, 4th and 5th?

One shot question..... Which is more beneficial ..... knowing every note on the fretboard or paterns and shapes ?
@LJSterks Жыл бұрын
Learn the notes on your low E and A strings and then the patterns and boxes using the root notes from those two strings. Two strings is a lot easier to work with to start, and the patterns and boxes are moveable from there.

@@seandaniel23 I want to make my own shorts. Will I get in trouble if I refer to your videos or to one of the other video creators. I would like people to learn to navigate as I have learned to navigate mostly using KZbin videos. I learned everything 100% from caged but I never really learned how to navigate to the dusty end. KZbin finished my quest to learn the whole fret board and to navigate. Some of your videos were very very helpful but they're starting to get really boring now. Your jokes are still funny and Relatible.
