I had same problem as use for films and Xbox Yamaha HTR 2064 factory reset then checked everything via buttons now works great again

Hey I have the RX-V585 and the reset didn't work. Bass is Set to +10 and Trebble is -10 and i got no original Remote. I'm getting sick with this😩 Can you help?

Hey buddy, I just did the factory reset I’m having a problem though with the remote not working it has brand new batteries. The receiver is brand new. I don't think there is a way to set a PIN code.. but if you are at a party, you will have to go in the settings and disconnect your phone first before being able to pair a new phone. So no one will be able to connect until you disconnect your device.
