Beluga Lady actually he has clarified that the initial script they had was a lot different than the end product. The director apparently made changes as he found the film had a lot of similarities to some other films. The set was ready and the producer was losing money everyday so he started shooting without any second thought.

I like that Saif was honest about what didn't work. If I remember correctly, I think Bipasha Basu was also embarrassed of that movie. I've found Sajid's movies to be tone deaf and devoid of logic, treating audiences like no-brained money printing machines which is very insulting. A lot of work goes into making movies, so directors should make all that work worth it by committing to a story worth telling, not churning nonsense movies that not only waste the actors' talent, but also leave a bad taste in the audience's mouth.

Okay but sacred games s2 was phenomenal. Agreed it wasn't a gritty thriller as much as it was a psychological thriller but it was extremely layered and catered to more intelligent audiences. It explored the complexities of human nature and life in a breathtaking way. The people who were dissapointed were so because they were expecting more violence, blood, nudity etc.

Tbh I like Sacred Games season 2. Yes the climax worked perfectly as many fans wants to know the outcome of that heroic act. I think Saif has that mindset of the person who changes his thoughts after reading the online critic reviews. Personally Sacred Games 2 was awesome. Yeah it took a turn in second season but people should have see it coming and if you watch the sacred games 1 again you will find there were no flaws in the writing of season 1 and 2. And tbh Chup chupke was a good comedy film. I think Phata poster nikla hero was Shahid's one of worst movie choice.

let me Appeal this... Sacred Games as a whole(Especially the second season) was a masterful storyteller...and that's a sharp opinion! people ask for Something epic to work in india despite the random contents we get as an Audience! But sacred games is supposed to be that one Gem which stands up to define India being capable in producing stories with Epic-Thriller genre! I can never understand the opinion of a person who says sacred games Season 2 was a disappointment! It's just so vague! it was simply genius, and The climax itself was one of a kind... probably one of The most bold Ending to any story I have read or Watched!
