I thought Junaid Khan’s acting was pretty natural. He still has more to learn but he is clearly dedicated to his craft. He is an artist to watch out for - intense gaze, delightful acting, amazing screen presence, charm and an eye for a good script - I think he could be big one day.

I saw the movie today. While I agree with most analysis, I think the original history itself was captivating and made me overlook the weaknesses. Junaid Khan even looks very much like successful Marathi and Hindi TV and Film actor Gashmeer Mahajani. Even he looks a lot like Henry Cavill but an Indian version of him. Despite these TV actors have so much talent and potential, Bollywood deliberately ignore these people. But Junaid was good but could've been better. I remember long back when I was in 7th standard Fahadh faasil debut movie Kai ettum doorathe and later movies were flop. In kerala people used to refer to him as Fasils Son and even a cameo of mamooty couldn't save the movie. The man did his homework and came back with a vengeance now the whole country knows him and refers to him as Fahadh fasil the great actor.

What a great and truthful movie, which hanged on to the reality or the truth it has to showcase. Not a single moment was lost. Instead of showcasing that as just a debutant for Amir's son, it should be given a separate space!! Bollywood has finally started to take off in a new direction. Its high time they should and right so, led by such a great and important incident.

I feel the portrayal of the beautiful scene masked as SA becomes a great point of contrast. I agree with you when you say that Delhi crime preserves the sensitivity of the situation and the filmmakers should have done the same here as well. This scene required a little more thought to find a better approach to shoot the SA part. The fact that JJ feels that he is doing nothing wrong has to be depicted.

Expecting him to ball his eyes out to express his emotion I feel like is wrong as it's an early 1900s film, even to this day crying man are considered weak and I felt this movie and Junaid's acting and his way of expressing emotions was awesome, you can easily feel the lack of experience in some of the new actor but not once while watching this film it came to my mind that this was his debut and he has never acted in a film in his life, seeing the era it was based on I feel like his acting was great, say i am mesmerized by his figure or the thinking of the character but i loved him in the film
