Pretty sure those buildings are not 1800s as they don't really look that old. Also they need to do a little research before saying either half true or completely false information.
@arijal15217 ай бұрын
@@Voidvoyager94bro go search on google and learn history first it's true, though, that nepal is never colonized, and nepal is the oldest country in South asia, and Iran,india too have ancient history. Go search about gurkhas and british war and learn some history before talking anything wrong!

We were never a British Colony brother, but yeah since we had a colony right next door, you can see some influence of that on our architecture :)

Don't know why you guys keep saying mountain. You guys are trekking through hills not a mountain. Sorry just wanted to point that out. Scenic views from Nagarkot hills are amazing though.
@angrymaniac537 ай бұрын
Well it's only in Nepal that they call it hill if it's not covered in snow all year.
@Voidvoyager947 ай бұрын
@@angrymaniac53 Even with snow, those are still hills where people farm, have houses and are easily accesible than mountains. Also with 3 regions in the country they are in hilly region so theres that. Then again hills and mountains may differ according to each countries.

u mean unified.
@angrymaniac537 ай бұрын
Bruh don't spread wrong information. PN shah didn't conquered all or unified all of Nepal. He sure had some part in it and he started the campaign but it was Bahadur Shah (2nd son of PN shah) who did most of the job in unification and continued the campaign after his death which gave us greater Nepal. PN shah did like 0.5-1 out of 3 part of Nepal. The remaining 2-2.5 of 3 were done by Bahadur Shah and others.
@angrymaniac537 ай бұрын
PN Shah started the campaign and captured Nepal valley which is today known as Kathmandu valley. He didn't conquered or unified all the states. His son did more for unification than he did. He just started it and it was continued by his son Bahadur Shah who gave us greater Nepal. PN didn't made Nepal but named the states he won after Nepal valley because he was obsessed with it and Nepal valley is today known as Kathmandu valley which includes Kathmandu, bhaktapur, patan. Give some credit to Bahadur Shah too if you gonna talk about unification especially because he did most of the work.

Nepal lost one third of its territory after anglo Nepal war in 1814 AD to 1816 AD in Sugauli treaty. But Nepal always remained independent and never been colonized by any European or other world power. Its a remote and forbidden part of the world back in the day.
