Just a fun fact regarding the animation of the original game, the creators took a lot of effort to showing characters personality in them. PEPPINO ALONE HAS OVER 5000 FRAMES, AND 4 DIFFERENT WALKING ANIMATIONS

I don't know what the left to rot, silver slice, party pizza and shadowed costumes are based off of, but I can shine some light on a few of these for you. grandpizza is reminiscent of old black and white cartoons, seasonal simply dresses pizzahead in more festive colors, sour cream is pretty self explanatory, sketched makes them look like their concept art, rainbow and double rainbow are revealed later in the video, random is also fairly self explanatory, and classic style makes them look like they do in actual pizza tower

To explain the down special for pizzahead. In pizza tower in phase 2(pizzahead’s phase) he pulls out different things like the sword in the stone and the peppino tv for a few things till phase 3(when peppino gets pissed) and the song is a banger.

Bonus: up strong pizzaface turns into scrapped pizzamancer enemy/mode, who summons enemies in hardmode Edit/bonus 2: shielding anim for pizzaface is when hes first seen ingame, in the cutscene, and pizzaheads shield is something he grabs in phase2, just as a move waste for hits, pizzaheads taunt is when hes able to be hit during the bossfight, pizzafaces taunt is his laugh when he drops down in the bossfight

Something kind of helpful I noteced with the down special for both PizzaFace and PizzaHead, their hud on the bottom shows a small icon to the top left of it on what the next item will be sent out upon use (examples being a fork icon for the army of knights if your PizzaHead)

There's some other awesome 2D games out there, both in recent times and yet upcoming, which i could definitely see mods for to put in this game. Games like Decline's Drops, Magenta Horizon: Neverending Harvest, Cookie Cutter, Kraino Rebirth and IMMORTAL: And the Death that Follows. i definitely recommend looking up and trying out/keeping an eye out for all of them. And spreading word on them too. All are very good games. Decline's Drops and Cookie Cutter have more planned for the future too. New weapons, playable characters, areas, enemies, bosses, NPCs, story beats, etc.

Bro go play Pizza Tower. The game is packed with personality and so fun to play. It is also fun to watch, whether you are bumbling around banging your head on every wall or shmoovin through levels faster than Team Rocket blasting of _agaaaaiiiiinn_ ✨. And the music, oh the music 🤌. It is so 80s in the best way possible, every track is unique and fits the level perfectly. 10/10 game, should have been GOTY!!!
