That room behind Pyrion is not some wild west ranch, it's actually an Icelandic "baðstofa" This is what the living spaces look/looked like inside the quaint little Icelandic turf houses (with the grass roofs) It has beds up against the walls on both sides, all down the room and the whole family would sleep there (as well as workers living on the farm) People also worked in the same room, especially processing wool (i. e. making the yarn, and knitting) etc.

Ok So full discloure i'm a furry. (The name and the Wolf avatar may be somewhat of a giveaway) Couple of corrections to the points the lads make about furries 1. Most fursuiters don't have sex in the fursuits they wear around conventions, typically you'll have a seperate fursuit for that stuff as you have to get them specially altered. 2. Its seen as pretty bad in the furry fandom if you don't wash or clean your fursuit. Just because we like to dress up as animals doesn't mean we don't have standards 3. Babyfurs and the like are typically shunned from furry conventions, most furry meetups/conventions try and limit the amount of kink related stuff that goes on and those kinds of people tend to form their own seperate events. 4. As someone who's been in the fandom for 8 or 9 years I have to say I've never really seen a Gorilla or Monkey Fursona. The lads are probably right that primates are too close to humans. Personally I like my fursona to be based around mythological or alien creatures because its something unique and fantastical. 5. Shark and Bird Fursonas are a thing, Sharks are just known as sharks and Birds are known are Avians. 6. There are people who believe that they are animals, they're known as Otherkin and a whole 'nother thing entirely. 7. I have a small dick.
