hey ESO, quick tip for many sieging when you are attacking a castle or city with level 1 or 2 walls you do not need to waste men by leading them to skirmishes on the battlements. You can simply build four trebuches and once they are built immediately quickly remove them from the battle until all four are built and then you can place all at the same time to let them go to work on the cities defenses and break down the walls so you can ride straight into the castle without suffering massive losses.

Danny you can use shield bash when you are blocking by pressing E you can also kick using E when you are not blocking just a tip and also shield bashing are really fun to do and if you press Z you can crouch

Realistic setting only removes bonus damage resistance (therefore fair damage) : *it does not affect AI.* There is another setting, elsewhere, called Combat AI (Good Average Poor). Think almost everyone will agree it is best to set that to Good or the best one. But the game is, of course, not really "there" yet.

He's couching it. Some lances allow you to couch them, once you get up to speed on your horse, you press x and basically charge at whatever.

isn't Couch Lancing only effective in jousting only ? because it was invented for it , a normal two hand thrust with a spear would be better in combat for 1 target kills and two handed sword for mutiple attack/kill .( basically drive by with a great sword )

buy a glieve use it two handed and swing at approaching cavalry. You usually do 200-300 damage

Zhen Wei Lai I have horrible timing and miss all my spear charges even tho it looks as if I should have hit the target. I relied on couch lancing for that reason but they just removed that ability from multiple polearms. I tried to perfect my timing by bullying looters but 3 hours in I saw eso posted and I gave up

Use a two handed sword , run beside the enemies and just start swinging , since it doesn't need much timing at all , even a one handed sword would work . Run by and slash , doesn't do one shot much , can lower their morale significantly , basically winning the skimish .
