That very rare thing in the USA where people love going to work, are relied upon, trusted, respected, and get compensated well for it.

As a qa tech in the industry and owner of arms, it’s nice to see the RIA company practicing Lean initiatives. Team looks to be happy

The Philippine made 1911 pistols from Armscor/RIA are very good as they are. They are hand fitted and tested for reliability. Only problem is to cut cost RIA does not put in the extra work to grinding corners and polishing and also just puts cheapest finnish which is parkerization. On the other hand a smaller local competitor Metro Arms puts a bit more work and thats why Metro Arms guns that look a bit more refined but also sell at a higher price. Gun culture in the Philippines may have also influenced this practice coz Filipinos love to buy branded after market parts for these 1911 pistols. Ed Brown this, STI that, Bomar this, KKM that etc etc.

I love guns made in USA, Philippines, & Turkey are superior. I love Armscor & Rock Island Armory. I giggled when Michael paused and zoned out for bit after he mentioned Manila.. his experience there must have been that great and fun. I too love the Philippines myself.. I'm American and treat Ph as my 2nd home.

It's a very competitive tool market, and the raw materials, trained labor force, and steps necessary to consistently make a quality 2011 style gun is difficult on any day especially doing it affordably. I really like that Tac Ultra line. Bring the full size and compact to us optic ready in a form/factor that simply runs and runs well. RIA is solid... bring some quality competition to the likes of Springfield Armory and Live Free Armory so we can all benefit overall.

It's not an "all American" company. It's an American name used by a foreign holding company.

I really hope the quality doesn’t falter at RIA. she is a bean counter, pure and simple ,whichever company pays her enough She will come in streamline your operation push everything to the limit and reduce operating cost.

12:00 One of the worst things a machine shop can do is not maintain strict environmental conditions. Having a fan is not a substitute for a conditioned space. This is critical for quality machine tolerances.

This company I think is South Korean and to me is a great example of their workmanship, I hope this is the same group that is is building weapons systems for South Korea because if it is that means that they would be able to use the same manufacturing operation that could go to Ukraine to help them build weapons to defend their freedom and keep their people safe.

how about doing the 1911 (2011) that accept the Glock mags like some other manufactures. and a limited run in Stainless.

Tamia looks better than a Mossberg, and it is as good as a Winchester used to be.

Their 1911's are way to heavy to EDC. A TAC Ultra CS/MS in 45ACP in aluminum would be a winner.

Being a marine she should know how the American Flag is to be displayed. Behind your big hat it is displayed incorrectly. Field of Stars upper left always. Vietnam Veteran.
