TriHealth Doctor on Call: When is a Blood Pressure Reading Too Low?

3 months ago my BP was consistently in the high 150's and 160's over 90's. I couldn't go up 2 flights of stairs without feeling like I was completely out of breath. I started a strict carnivore diet 102 days ago, and now I'm consistently in the 117/77 - 120/80 range. I can run up 6 flights of stairs now without being winded, and I don't exercise regularly other than walking. I'm no longer prediabetic, I'm down 4 pants sizes, and lost a ton of weight while I'm never even hungry.

I took my meds before a surgery a few days ago on an empty stomach. Nothing to eat or drink after 12am the night before. My BP dropped to 84/36 n I felt like I was going to die. Got sweaty, clammy, dizzy light headed and nauseous all at once. I'm sure the danger low level is different for everyone but please be careful n consult your doctor.

Mine drops like that after eating a HUGE meal, well, not that low but it was 83/60

I have be having very low blood pressure the last few weeks. Had blood pressure blood work take and it all came back normal , but I’m still getting very light headed and weak all the time .
