Finally! This explains why I suffered from vertigo for 3 consecutive months and many times over many years after my first chiropractic adjustment. A friend later explained to me that the ligaments in my neck had been stretched and that ligaments are not elastic. The top vertebra in my neck kept twisting one way while a vertebra in the middle of my neck twisted the opposite way. I never had a problem with my neck until that first chiropractic adjustment, and the only relief from vertigo was to keep getting my neck adjusted back into place. A vicious cycle. Only the Lord Jesus Christ fixed this problem through a miraculous healing after praying for it.

Omg i have been dealing with this for almost 17 years. The ER has been my second home for almost 15% of those 17 years. Countless doctor visits, to all kinds of specialists, I am 42 years old and this has took over my life and I am crying as I type this because you literally described everything I go through on a daily basis. I have lost my job, marriage, myself because of these symptoms. Every time I have an episode i feel like I am going to die. It’s been a constant fear for almost half my life. I don’t know if this is my answer but I do appreciate you posting this video to give people like myself and others hope. For the longest time when my blood tests would come back normal, ekg, mri scans, stress tests you name it. I even had a spinal tap done. All this to just tell me that nothing is wrong will make a person question their sanity, I thought it was all in my head. I pray I find the answer one day but for now this is another step in the right direction. Thank you

You are not alone! I have been dealing with this for almost 4 years. Visits to ER. Pounding heart and I can feel it in my ears and head. I fear aneurysm every day. I can't enjoy anything because of the symptoms. I stopped going out or even socializing because I constantly feel I'm going to faint or have a stroke. My MRI showed bulging in C5-6 and mild stenosis in all c1-6. My doctor said that's not of concern, but after watching this video, I am taking my MRI results to another doctor. I wish I could see Dr. Ross Hauser, but I'm on the other side of the country. I'm so grateful for this eye opening video. Hope you get some relief soon! I totally understand what if feels like. It has affected my work, personal life, and even emotional wellbeing because the symptoms make me feel I could drop dead any moment and people do not understand why I feel like that and I'm going mentally ill.

I’ve had this for years. Tried to tell my PA that my dizziness and migraines seemed to be coming from my neck area. He scoffed and actually kind of laughed when he told me that there are ‘no nerves that go from my neck up to my head’ so that wasn’t possible. I switched providers after that.

Wow, I have had palpitations and tachycardia for about 7-8 yrs now. It is often triggered by simply turning my head, or bending forward to pick something up off the floor and you're the first doctor I have ever heard talk about it. I never know now if my heart rate will get erratic from a simple move or change of posture. When I have tachycardia I can feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins. I've explained this to my doctors but no one seems to understand so they send me for halter monitor testing and the results are always normal so I'm told that it's benign and nothing to worry about. I have never felt that it was a problem with my heart, I've always felt that it was my nervous system causing it because I just always feel so unstable and not grounded. I'm sick & tired of it because benign or not, tachycardia is very scary. So thank you for this video. I will look into prolotherapy.

I showed this video to my PCP today, because I’ve been having symptoms including being lightheaded, off balance, drops in BP from my normal range of 110-120/70-80 to 100-110/50’s, arrhythmia, exhaustion, weakness, nausea, headaches, difficulty holding my head up for long periods of time without rest or support and a conscious but comatose like state where cognitive function and verbal interaction becomes extremely difficult. Previous history of a 2 MVA 27 and 20 years ago, spinal X-rays showing C1 C2 rotation and straightening of the cervical spine from 5-6 years ago, recent MVA in December of 2020, in which I sustained a fracture of C2, and a torn ligament. My PCP felt this could definitely be what is causing my symptoms after watching this video, referring me back to the Neurosurgeon who treated me after my most recent MVA. Thank you so much for making this video it really helped me get the ball rolling to hopefully get the proper DX and treatment for my symptoms.

I was admitted to the hospital for 2 days after I couldn’t get my heart rate to slow down, went into the ER with a 187bpm and the lowest i saw it while i was in there was around 150bpm. Cardiovascular specialist and every doctor/nurse I saw has no idea what the cause is. I have a bulging disc between C3 & C4 for the last 3 years and my neck muscles are super weak but I can’t seem to strengthen them. I’ve been on a beta blocker since I was discharged and I can’t wait to get off of it. I know it’s not my heart. Thank you for the info!

Thank you for your video doctor. I think I've lived with this since my mid 30s. I'm now in my late 50s. My primary care doctor back in the late 90s said it had something to do with the vagus nerve so he was on the right track, but he never mentioned the cervical instability. I've had the off balance feeling, blood pressure swings, tachychardia, and what some thought were the anxiety attacks. Have always been in pretty good shape and in to athletics. There were times when the symptoms would go away for awhile. The last couple of years it's been acting up some. This might be a treatment to look in to.

I’ve had palpitations triggered by neck problems for years . When receiving upper cervical treatment from chiropractor I asked if my neck problems were causing palpitations as I noticed that when my head was in certain positions I’d get multiple ectopic beats (ruled out as benign by e.c.g’s). @@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Glad to see this video. I don't know if this is my problem. I was diagnosed with vertigo and high blood pressure a few years ago. The vertigo went away but has returned intensely. At night, I try to turn to my left in bed and feel like room spinning. My diastolic pressure is usually high unless I take my bp pill. Maybe this is my problem, too..the topic of the video.

I have Ehlers Danlos. All these symptoms. Already cervical myelopathy TWICE. Paid fir a dynamic MRI last June. Need to get a motion cervical xray but they NHS do not diagnosis or treat AAI! In EDS patients it can be so severe it can kill. I've already been bedbound 5 years, lost my large bowel, got an ileostomy, lost the use of my bladder, use a wheelchair - had 5 MAJOR surgeries with stays in critical care but they won't diagnose AAI or use prolotherapy or C1/2 to skull base fusion with Chiari decompression! Instead, I have to either raise approx $400,000 to get treated in the US or die a very long, painful death here in the UK. And it is, very painful.

Thanks for all the great videos doctor. This has been a real eye opener for me. I have dizziness, lots of cracking, popping noises in my cervical area and a swollen neck on both sides of my neck. Feels like my SCM is really inflamed and swollen, plus difficulty swallowing. I have had an MRI of my neck, head and face, but they could find not anything wrong, but they did not do a moving digital X-ray. I asked my doctor about a digital moving X-ray and did not know what I was talking about. Kind of crazy!!! I probably need to see a better doctor in my area. I wish I lived in Florida, I could come see you in person. I was wondering if you know of any good doctors in the Sacramento or San Francisco, California area that do this kind diagnosis/treatment? I have been suffering with this problem for almost 2 years now and even had to quite my job, since my symptoms got so bad. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Glenn

@MaeganMemories I have had two prolozone injections so far, it helped some, but still have a very stiff neck. My sternocleidomastoid muscle on both sides of my neck is very tight, sore and knots in the muscle. Plus, my arms get very numb. My pain management doctor at UCSF is going to do some triggers point injections into my scm muscle in a few weeks. Hopefully, that will help to loosen it up, but it all takes time. The good news, insurance will cover my injections at UCSF. More updates in a few weeks. Plus, praying you get some relieve and answers from your symptoms too.

Hi Eyota Chenoa, Thank you for sharing. We understand. It's so frustrating to have your symptoms disregarded or thought of as just an aging problem. Plenty of people in their 80s, 90s+ without those issues. We are very driven to find the reason behind people's symptoms and get to the root cause as best as possible, and so we share our research and experience with others so hopefully, they can figure out if that may be an avenue worth exploring in their case. Glad that the video was helpful to you and we hope that you and your chiropractor will be able to come up with a plan. We wish you all the very best in health!

I had a C1-2 herniation for many years. The herniated part calcified and they quit taking MRI's every year. Then I had two more HNP Cervical with cervical dissectemies, about 5 years apart. Then after 5-6 years I knew I had some more HNP cervical and MRI showed the C1-2, C2-3, C3-4 and C-6-7. C4-5 and C56 had already been dissectomied with interior fusions. Shortly before the last MRI was done, I had a run of chest pain. Had a cardiac cathertization which showed no pathology in cardiac arteries. They gave me an IV of Nitro- drip which stopped the chest pain. After that I noticed dizziness when I turned my head to the left. The MRI showed definite herniation of the top cervical disc's with thickening of the muscles posteriorly and cervical spinal cord impingement. I then had those 4 cervical with dissectomies and plating. The dissiness has never stopped when I turn my head to the left. So I'm wondering if that side of nerve pathways is stretched as explained. I'm sure I have a new C-7-T-1 herniation. Also others down the thoracic spine as well as lumbar and sacral areas. Drs. Don't want to touch any of thst until have to because rodding will have to be done and they said after rodding the pain often is worse than before rodding. So I'm having to live with what deficits I have as well as the pain.

I have this really really bad but I was worried i won't get the diagnosis ! Everyday for past 6 months I have felt tingles in my face arms head and body ! Then come the heart palpitations then come the dizziness I also get an over whelming burning sensation like a feel really really hot ! ! It happens when I stand too quickly / shift my head too hard or fast and then happens when I spin around or try doing exercise! I have passed completely out many times and its really really taking over my life !! I am scared of the doctor as he's never really helped to give me a diagnosis of any of my illnesses none that are useful ! I may change GP and see if I can find one who's knows more about this type of thing 🤔. Glad to know there is ways to solve it as I need it solved ASAP im over my head with it and I can't do nothing I can't go shopping I can't exercise like I would want to I can't even stand up at times because I just pass out !
