I have an Ohuhu tubeless sight. it has red and green and a variety of patterns. What I like best about the comparison is my battery can be replaced without removing the sight. I am not saying mine is better, but the maintenance will be easier.

I think Trijicon rates the battery life on the RMR for like 5 years on medium brightness. So maintenance doesn't really need to be easy.

A lot of stuff like the Trijicon is overpriced because somebody thinks they got the gold key to the crapper a reasonable price would be 5 to 10% over cost of building it

RMRs are supposed to fit that tight. If you would have payed closer attention to your calipers you would have known it was going to be a much tighter fit. .010 is a huge difference in length.

It took me buying an air soft version to throw 400 + out now the type two and my 2.5 sro are my favorite.. I've wanted to try holosun recently though and tried a friends deer deco decided i needed one and then he tells me its the only one not sharing the rmr foot print!! Grr. I'll be buying one for my "truck weapon" so my little 1.5 acog can go on another project

I have a real RM06 and a real Dual Illuminated. I have one of these fakes and I’m looking forward to messing around with it. I will say, the fakes are REALLY close.

Interesting to see that the fake one bothered to put a o-ring at the bottom of the red dot, so supposedly it is "sealed", but the top where the electronics is shown by your review it is open...what that means is this is a little water bucket, whenever it got some rain, the water will accumulate inside the device and damage the device straightaway or in the long run, maybe if the o-ring is crap, it might leak the water through it and the red dot might survive...who knowns....not even considering recoil survivability and long life under harsh conditions....I think it is just a gimmick....it might work for sometime, but we all know it will fail at some point....good comparison review though...

Many things made in China can be useful and honestly most, if not all, of us have bought products made there. Where I have an issue is when those manufacturers attempt to deceive by including language and branding of the made in USA product! I run away from those products as fast as I can! eBay is a minefield and caution is warranted! Thank you for this video which can help with an informed decision!

Guys I did the same thing and waisted $40 on the China fake one, and after about 100 rounds it lost zero and was never able to zero it again. It might do ok on a rifle, but not on the slide of a Pistol.

I reckon half the time, other than say 10, 20 or 30$ worth of better components in the whole thing, and more attention to detail on quality control and inspection, there is almost ZERO difference. But if someone wants to pay another 350$ + for that difference, HAY HO, your choice, real one is not value for money.

This video is funny. I just bought a Trijicon rmr from Amazon, it was their Used/New item so I got it for a real great price of $341.67 all I can say is THANK YOU for making this video because I just got a fake from Amazon and I called them to tell them what I got. I also called Trijicon to give them the fake serial number to verify it was there's and of course that serial number was not in their system.. Amazon gave me a full refund today August 14th 2018 and they want me to return it so they can do their investigation. I told them I was going to include this video to show how can you spot a fake. Again, Thanks for making this video. I do have 3 pictures of the fake just for my records for just incase I get another fake rmr in the future.

First thing Chinese gave us hell in WW11 they make good weapons 2 nd. They pay these guys less than 2 dollars and hr to make them eotech pays between 20 and 30 hr plus benefits 3 rd they have to be sold in US as Bb pellet and air soft scopes due to shipping regulations and 4 th they can’t infringe on patient so they make a few changes get it lol

Trijicon is 1. military spec 2. over built 3. over priced for most mortals. If I were going to Afghanistan or Iraq I would have a Trijicon; if I'm going to the gun range I'm buying something less expensive. Get a mount and a cheap red dot to see if you like the idea; then you can have a slide milled ($150) and get a good red dot ($300 Holoson, etc.) If you are a guy under 40, a red dot is a waste; get a fiber optic front sight from Dawson or similar.

No way am I trusting my life or loved ones lives to a cheap Chinese knock off. The Chinese mix tin in with all their metal components to lower the price. The internal electronics are also the same. Fit and finish will also never be the same. And I have no doubt if your doing hard training or are in a life and death scenario where the red dot gets dropped or has to be used to release the slide or is even simply hit up against something because you’re taking cover or are fighting with a threat, there is no way the Chinese knock off holds 0. You would also likely kill the Chinese one all together or have it explode into several pieces.

I totally agree. I have real deal optics and equipment for social work. But these little knock-offs are okay for the kids 10/22 or a Ruger MKIII pistol, which is why I'm watching. But I know the limits of these cheap Chineseium. It's super annoying when people buy a ~$50 micro dot, stick it on a Glock and bitch when its beaten to death in a couple mags.
