I find this so educating! In fact I’m only watching this for the sake of realism in my game. Because some people in my game apply horse shoes and some don’t (they don’t even know what trimming their hooves are) and just throw a saddle and bridle over the horse and start riding them. Oh well, I guess it’s “just” a game.

Holy moly, he is a tough one! Hope you’re ok! You certainly have put so much time into him with so much patience. He stood so well for his front feet. Strange it didn’t go well with his back feet. ?

Yep! He sure is a tough one 😅It feels like such a long process with this guy! Three steps forward and two steps back. Yeah the front feet were fine! So strange haha

You need to to start leading your horse by the 4 feet. If you go to hop on your horse rope the back foot and he won’t kick you you.

Everyone has different methods! Mine focuses on building respect and trust. I do use the leading by the feet exercise 👍🏼

Hope you heal quickly from all the bruises this old boy is giving you. He's a bit of a fruit cake that's for sure. 😏 I've got a pasture pet that is that way. The trainer that we've had her to, saddled her and everything and his response was, don't trust her. And he was a well respected trainer. In the pasture with other horse you can c things don't quite commute. She will stand right at the edge of the other horse's no no bubble and pester and bite just out of kick range. She will do this till one of them has enough of it and gets after her. Then 10 minutes later she's doing the same thing again. Makes you wonder if she's slightly brainless or smart enough to know how to cause trouble.🫤

Haha thank you! Yes that’s very relatable. She sounds like a similar type as my Wild Horse! Either dumb or smarter than us 😂
