Hi Lisa, Thank you! The covered jar at the beginning of the video is a simple technique I developed with some trial and error. I took the bisqued jar and used thin masking tape to create the design. I then dipped or sprayed a stiff white (doesn’t run) glaze over the entire piece and then removed the tape before firing. I hope this helps you, Richard

I like the trim line on the bottom to stop the glaze. It will also give a clear line when waxing the bottom to prepare for glazing 🙂.

I would love to know how did you do the decoration in the thumbnail. Wax? Masking tape? 4 brushes attached and very good pulse? I love it!

Thank you. I use masking tape on bisque ware before glazing and then remove the tape before firing. Enjoy!
