Nothing better than a good trim, I'm kind of obsessed with cutting my ends. Like i have to keep my hair in a bun because if it's down and i see one split end I'm running to my scissors😂 Though my hair is finally bra strap length so apparently I'm finally doing something right
@angelconsealed12303 жыл бұрын
Omg same! If I wear my hair down I will be cutting in it all day or looking for split ends and knots. I usually wear it in twist or a bun to stop myself from cutting 😩🤣
@bebepatton44913 жыл бұрын
Y’all!!!! I thought I was the only one that did this! I literally thought something was wrong with me! It is so bad that my daughters have hid every pair of scissors that they find or come across. They say they don’t want a bald headed momma. LoL 🤣
@angelconsealed12303 жыл бұрын
@@bebepatton4491 omgg it's so good to hear that I'm not crazy or the only person that does this. I keep a pair of hair scissors in my bag so that I have them whenever I need then.
@aaunyea47993 жыл бұрын
@@angelconsealed1230 I use to do this too! If i didn't then I'd pick at it even though i know that it would be worse. I had no self control!

My mom is 75 years old. She has been doing her own hair, cut, color and roller set since she was 40 years old, or thereabouts. I was a young teen, I remember it vividly, and not wanting to go to the salon so frequently anymore (as a child we went just about every month, to cut bangs etc. and yep mom got her hair done too). Anyway. We did the math on that, and by doing it at home for over 30 years she has saved herself a brand new not that small of a car!

The trim makes your hair look better. Invest in some olaplex if you are heat styling more than usual and enjoy your straight hair. There is nothing wrong with heat styling especially since you use Dyson tools. Your hair just needs some extra love.

Home trims are the best. I don’t trust hair salons as most people don’t. If someone at a hair salon is jealous of your thick or curly hair, they’ll trim a little more than it needs to be. My hair is thick when blown out and since I trimmed my hair, I have a better curl pattern.

Make sure you hair is moisturized (coconut oil on wet hair.. along with hair steaming) and always have your mane in a single braid. That will lessen the fairy knots.
