Regular trims are a must! My hair reaches past my elbows, and every couple months I take a seat on the stool, get caped and my husband trims my hair. He does it dry so he can see the splits/damage and trim it off. He does the full sectioning, pinning it up and letting my hair down in increments so the layers underneath get trimmed to remove damage, rather than just the top layer. By doing this method, I don’t have the breakage moving up the hair shaft, resulting in thinning. My best friend watched him do my hair, liked the way he was doing it and asked him to give her a trim as she wanted to grow her hair longer. She asked if he could continue to trim her hair as she does not trust the salons that always screwed up her hair.

Yes, Kee of Deeper Than HAIR is the best and I might be known to have high standards!!! 😝 Her Satin Shield Serum, made a world of difference, but her conditioner is simply beautiful as well. Nicely done and you’re funny! I am thankful to have been clipping my ends or an actual cut for more than 30 years. In addition to what you did, I also hold the hair out to the sides, to get those in between strands even better! For those of us that constantly have single strand knots… 💆🏽♀️ I actually hold up small sections at a time with the light behind me as I look in the mirror, that allows me to see the knots better!
