Best DNA result vlog on KZbin, and I have seen many. So detailed, you both are very entertaining I also love your patois throughout and his facial expressions, and your counter reactions to him, so adorable.

This is why I am reluctant to take these dna tests. Basically someone has access to all your strengths and weaknesses and this information can be sold to the highest bidder. Anyway you guys are fun to watch. :) Lovely couple.

It's crazy how skin tone has nothing to do with the results. I've seen people way darker than him have lower percentage of African in them than him. If you would have asked prior to revealing the results, I would have said 75%.
@AlisonRyce6 жыл бұрын
Me too. I thought I would've been around 75% as well before I took my own test. I was even ore surprised that I was more African than my cousin Samara (I did a video with her on my channel) & she's more chocolate than I am. I've learned so much from taking those tests.

"Who sneezes in the sun?!" That'd be me. I sneeze every single time I go outside during the day. Every. Single. Time. Also, camera flashes and bright lights being turned on can do it too. Definitely a genetic trait, because my son is the exact same way.

man. love how you have introduced more sites to share your dna results with to gain more info. Before finding your channel i did a search on " what the difference between the dna sites" the article is very helpful, it said that nobody could ever go away is to go through ancestry.com get your results then share with 23andMe and to get a more comprehensive result you can hey for the National Geographic DNA test. It seems that you have found many more sites that you can share your results with without paying additional money. thanks for sharing this is very cool interesting.

Thanks so much for watching & commenting! The waiting process with 23andMe is so cool. They'll show you the entire process in your account so that you'll know when to expect your test results. It's a cool interactive timeline that updates & tells you what step they're on with extracting your DNA from the saliva sample. It's pretty cool! I'm excited for you & I hope you enjoy it!

Loved the video Allison. How do you record your screen share like that with your image in the background?
@AlisonRyce8 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks! The following are instructions to use with imovie: 1. Use the app "Any Screen Recorder" to record your screen. 2. Import the saved video (screen recorded) into imovie project and place it on top of the main video in the timeline. 3. With the screen recorded video highlighted, click on the "Add as overlay" button. 4. From your picture choices (picture in picture/split screen/ect.) choose "Cutaway" 5. Lower opacity of the video so that the main video can be seen behind the screen recorded video.

Hi, thanks for reaching out.Yes, if you test your son with 23&Me, it will match him as his grandfather if your father is in the database. Have you placed your information on GEDMatch.com? Their database has both AncestryDNA & 23&Me customers in one place. You may find a close match there with your AncestryDNA RAW DNA. If you haven't already, download the RAW DNA in your AncestryDNA account and upload it to GEDMatch. I hope that your search will be successful!
