How long does sugar water need to be boiled

Until it thickens... can’t really say an exact time as it will depend on the temperature you have it at etc but when you dip a spoon in it, and lift the spoon out it should flow off but not very freely. You will be able to feel and see when it starts getting thick. Honestly the sugar step can be tricky. One thing that might be able to help is adding the ladoo mixture to the sugar mixture in the pot once the sugar mixture thickens a bit and keep stirring on low heat until most of the liquid dries up and the ladoo mixture starts firming up...
