Trinidad Visit - Lopinot | Learn How to Make Chocolate & Enjoy a Relaxing Nature Walk with me

Let's take a break from the kitchen as you join me on a tour of Lopinot Historical Complex, Trinidad. The last time I was there I was about 10 and going to primary school! A very, very long time ago. It's such a beautiful, serene place full of history!
We learn how to make chocolate from raw cocoa pods, check out some local products (chocolate and wine) and souvenirs, listen to parang (local music), admire the world's most beautiful tree (my opinion--I LOVE TREES :-)), and then you can join me on beautiful and relaxing stroll through nature--as I get my feet wet in a local stream! Bliss! This is life on a beautiful, Caribbean island---a little piece of my exquisite homeland Trinidad and Tobago!

I was now thinking if i were there I would have had to put my feet in that water, then suddenly i saw a pair of feet! As a matter of fact when i looked at the angle i thought someone had to be standing in that stream.

It was peaceful and relaxing amidst the lush hills and environment, with a refreshingly cool breeze and of course perfect sunshine! I loved it so much I could live in that area permanently. Only 20 or so mins from Chaguanas-if I recall correctly.

It's beautiful in that area...always cool and peaceful. Next to the Catholic church there is a restaurant/guest house called Mariposa. The food and surroundings are good for the soul🤗
