I'd argue that the one is real insofar as he/she is just simply the person/sentient that carries part of the anomaly and/or that starts such process. What I think is interesting is that many interactions with the people that carry this anomaly result into copying fragments of that code to the new ones. That means that, effectively, anybody can be the one.

@@agentsmith7947 it means that Neo is someone ,who is a defined permanent point of value, as a person and character. As where Smith is someone that constantly has no permanent point of value, instead he is an ever changing value. Able to become anybody if he wants too. Anyone can be a permanent state of value , that is a defined sense of character. However, not just anyone can be every state of value, that is an undefined sense of character. Basically if you think about that idea, it's truly what separates the idea of a human being from a machine. A Machine can change forever, a human being is mortal and will eventually end.

@@agentsmith7947 When Neo freed Smith at the end of the first movie it allowed Smith to literally become anyone just like the other agents but of his own "free" choice, not just out of purpose demanded by being an Agent. So, Smith can literally become anyone a la the old school agents but Neo is "The One" and there really were no special qualities or requirements for being The One, it was just part of the normal systemic anomaly program. In fact, that's furthered by the scene where Neo first meets the Oracle and there are all these telekinetic and gifted kids with powers and here was schmuck Neo who couldn't do shit but fail to make big jumps and say "Woah". ANYONE could have been The One. And yet, it had to be Neo. The whole line is really a paradox.

I completely agree with this hypothesis. There's just one thing that is missing and that has been missed for decades: How does the "powers of The One" work exactly? It would be easy to just write them off as simply some esoteric matrix code, but you'll see. The clue is on the first movie during the "building jump" training sim scene: What does Morpheus tell Neo he needs to do to jump from roof to roof? "You have to let it all go, Neo. Fear, doubt, and disbelief. Free your mind." A lot of people interpreted this just as follows: By not believing in the lie presented to you by the Matrix and "freeing your mind" you suddenly became able to bend the laws of physics within the Matrix simulation; "there is no spoon". But that is only the novice level of law-bending an average red pill can do with enough training, specially so after being jacked out of the Matrix and seeing "the real world" with your own eyes. No... Morpheus was talking about the next level of proficiency; something really hard to acquire: he was talking about faith. The powers of The One are activated on faith. Fast forward to Resurrections and we are given a confirmation: Neo never believed himself to be The One, but Trinity did, and that was enough for Neo to believe. Maybe this is the change the Oracle did to the code this time. Maybe previous anomalies acquired faith in themselves about being The One "on their own" and activated the code with the love they felt for humanity. This time however love was equated to faith, because love really is one special kind of faith; for one to fall in love you really need to let it all go: Fear, doubt and disbelief. In Resurrections, Neo expresses that now it's his turn to believe in Trinity. And now that he is doing so right as they make a jump of faith, a jump of faith in each other, voilà! Her powers are unlocked. This also explains why they are unstoppable together. When two lovers believe in each other, they can become a force to be reckoned with. That is the nature of the changes the Oracle made in their anomaly code explained. Like poetry indeed.

@@ovoj the movie is ahead of its time, just as the first one was. you are correct; people will catch on... eventually...years or decades from now. by then those who do "get" the movie now will have long since moved on to even further horizons of self-awareness and actualization. matrix resurrections gave me chills with how good it is and my mind and heart were satisfied with all its latest questions, riddles, perceptions and aesthetics. it's the best mind candy! 😎

Exactly. P4 confirmed some theories. The execution of production wasn't the best but whatever. I'm just glad the story continues. The main writer hasn't confirmed she also wrote a p5, but that would be interesting. My main question now is... how much is she trolling? She straight up did in the after credit scene, but I also felt like she had already trolled us in other parts. Anyone have a comment on this?

Trinity, Morpheus and others did have augmented abilities in the previous Matrix. They had limited ability to manipulate the code within the Matrix. She now has powers duplicating Neo's because in the new incarnation of the Matrix, the anomaly is a binary (a concept repeated constantly in the film). As the Analyst said, he designed it based upon the energy the two of them generate together. So in this new Matrix, there is no "One," there is a Binary. Even the new human city is called IO. One and Zero. A binary. The game he works on in the film is called. . . Binary.

1 or 0 is binary whereas 1 and 0 represents non binary. The Matrix Resurrections re-emphasizes and over emphasizes the importance of non binary perspective of reality. It is the binary way of thinking that leads to war over and over again whereas non binary is sustainable life with harmony. Hence free mind is never divided by binary but rather unified by it.

I think Neo was the one then he spread himself in Smith which made them both "The One". Then Neo brought Trinity back to life making her a part of "The One" after they died the machines regrew Trinity and Neo which probably scrambled their code of being "The One" which is why "they" are "The One" together.

@@jasonfields7058 I mean when you read the matrix like a book, it wants to appear as a biblical cycle of repetition of archetypes and once the anomaly incarnates, agent Smith will as well. The only strange thing is why they keep neo and trinity at the anomaleum when Smith doesn't need too but is actually more powerful than the Analyst at some point. This doesn't make much sense at all to me. Maybe someone else can explain. Maybe it has a deeper meaning. Or maybe it's just an unthoughtful plotfiller.

This made so much sense as Neo revived her by jumpstarting her heart with his powers, thus providing his anomaly code into her body, giving her powers to bend the Matrix to her will just as he did. Seeing her fly for the first time is an epic sight to see, and both Neo and Trinity flying in the end is equally as epic. My mom and dad just kicking ass and taking names!

They're Yin and Yang who work as ONE, another way of looking at this is The Masculine and Feminine energies are both parts of a complete being! If there's one thing that is incredibly clear it is that there is no "The One". There is only the anomaly program and the abilities that program has. Neo contains this code making him the de facto One but now in M4 his code doesn't activate unless Trinity is around. So, Neo is still "the one" only in that he contains the anomaly source code but it only activates via the love for Trinity. How Trinity also has Neo's abilities without the source code is never explained on purpose. I believe the idea is that they both have his source code's abilities due to their love for each other. Sentimental, yes.

The new matrix v.7 is built from the source code from Neo and Trinity I've seen the film once and gathered after their resurrection when ever they touched while under control they caused white light. Neo and Trinity prove the prophecy at the end of resurrections. They now have the power to change the matrix from within. The exact prophecy stated in the first film. It is impossible to love everyone equally, to love one particular person intensely means you can project that love on a group of people without having to dilute the feeling.

Yes, in the coffee shop. It was her altered RSI, that is how she actually appeared to everyone else but Neo could really see her. They explain this in the movie. The same happens with Neo, Bugs sees him as a bald man on the building (but knows its Neo) before he was "reset". We later see him as the old man as well.

The anomaly code is selfless (sacrificial) love for another individual (leaving the 99 sheep to go after 1). This is what Neo did in Reloaded: choosing Trinity over Zion. Smith also has this code, but it is a partial code; a proxy code; and incomplete code. Smith wanted to take over the Matrix for himself, the complete opposite of Neo.

Neo purpose was what it was before he met trinity she was just a motivating factor in his journey. Loving trinity who is apart of the people lead neo to saving all people but in realistic terms no true messiah relies on the love of one partner to save humanity if given the gifts to save humanity it’s usually for a group of people or maybe all people but messiahs do have other underlying factors that keep them motivated throughout their journey sometimes it may be a lover.

Trinity and Smith both have the source code from neo, it was just a matter of them realizing it. The analyst explains it. For smith it was when he saw morpheus. For trinity it was when she saw the sun on the roof top, she saw the code in everything like neo did when he was shot in the first movie

that's not fully how the vase scenario works...if the oracle knew neo would break the vase if he turned around after she said something about it and break it...then that means SHE PUT the vase there for that exact purpose. no telling how long ago she put that vase there is the mind bending part. mind bending....because...the longer ago in the past she put the vase there knowing neo would break it means she possesses more vision for potential outcomes. the sooner she put it there in the past (like say 20 minutes) means she doesn't possess as much computational power. this scene is actually a representation of the probability solving power of quantum computation.

This means that Neo and Trinity can copy the anomaly to anyone else. Thus if everyone has the anomaly code then it is no longer anomaly but rather a new norm. Hence an evolution of the anomaly code.

Ya know, I'm glad you guys aren't just shitting all over this movie like most everyone else is. I may be a minority at this point, but I truly enjoyed this movie. There were just 1 or 2 things, that I didn't exactly feel amazing about, but even those weren't cringe to me. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. You know the first half of the video about Trinity and Trilogy, was like a Deja Vu for me. Thanks to this amazing channel almost all these concepts and hidden plotlines have been discussed in various videos on this channel. I have also been explaining the same to many blue pills on social media that "There is No One", infact there has been no One ever, only the Oracle's so called Dangerous game which included the "prophecy". The Anomaly code is the One! Although being a human I did have doubts whether what I think I knew is even right or not. This video put my anxiety about that to rest as well. This channel is my Anti Ontolofloxin. Btw, do you guys really think the Oracle has been permanently Purged? If Smith can make a comeback from the backups, cant the Oracle come back as well with a new DSI. Although I absolutely loved the Resurrections, I truly missed the Oracle's cryptic conversations. They really added the philosophical mystic layers to the movie. Hope she comes back.

The whole "The two not the one" idea in this film makes no sense. Neo had all his powers in Matrix 1 already, why does he need trinity to reactivate it? What the movie is trying to imply is that him and trinity were always the two, but the movie shows thats not the case even if u wanna use the "2nd movie giving her his code " theory

Did you watch the video? Part of the code in Neo was copied into Trinity. When he was being experimented by the machines, his powers weren't working right. When she was resurrected and got close to him, then the code kicked in. The Analyst has no clue why this is this way. He only has theories.

Two things. 1. Smith was already evil to begin with. His actions were based on a compulsion to survive deletion and to balance the equation in the Matrix, by doing away with individuality. Hence coping himself onto everyone, thereby eliminating choice. He became a virus. Before then, Smith's existence was predicated on stopping Neo from becoming The One. Trinity, on the other hand, is a human with the capacity for individual thought. Aka, free will. She is not compelled to kill Neo, nor copy herself onto others. She wants to fix things. We don't know what the "bad things" that happened were. Most likely it was what they promise to do. 2. The power is divided between them. They need each other in order to use it.

The code is the ONE. Neo was just a vessel, but the code itself is the anomaly, and the code can be copied to other vessels as well. That's why Smith got powers in the second movie, when the ONE code got copied into him when Neo defeated him at the end of the first movie. The ONE was never a person, it was always just code.

Trinity having the Anomaly's code is well established for those who pay attention. Smith too. However, what was more subtle was why the Analyst brought Smith back. The Analyst Evil Monologified why he needed Neo and Trinity but never once mentioned Smith. What little we got was Smith saying (in what I suspect is the dilapidated remains of the Chateau Neo first fought the Exiles in;one of the busts of Merv's head on a viking helmet can be clearly seen in one of the rooms), "The analyst turned our bond into a chain." So perhaps the Analyst figured out that since Smith had part of the code as well, he needed all three of them for the new system to work. Neo and Trinity for the "hope/love", and Smith for the "hate/despair." On the subject of Smith, I've watched the movie twice now and picked up on a subtle detail in his first appearance in the movie as Tomas Anderson's "boss." He lights up a cigarette, and Tomas says "I thought you said you quit." Smith replies "I quit calling it a bad habit. Now I call it a guilty pleasure." Later in the aforementioned "Crazy Merv all out attacks" scene, when Smith offers Neo an ultimatum and Neo says "sounds like conflict." Smith replies "Inevitable? Not necessarily." Still later in the final fight in the cafe, Smith thanks The Analyst for "finally letting me be me." All this signifies that Smith has finally asked the "why" that he struggled with in both his previous forms. The system no longer binds him, "purpose" no longer binds him. He is free...to be evil. Because when he stared down Neo at the end of Revolutions, when he asked why Neo kept fighting, when Neo replied "because I choose to," and when Smith was yet again defeated by his own self-imposed sense of "purpose" without asking why...in his last moments before being "rebooted" for the second time he came to the conclusion, "Why? Because why not? Because it's a joke. 'Why' is just the punchline of a monstrous gag that never ends, so why not just laugh? Why so serious, Mr. Anderson?"

Here's a question for a future video. Sati "keep[s] an eye on" Neo from the coffee shop. But what do their interactions in the coffee shop represent? The scenes with her in the montage look to me as though they were part of longer sequences that were cut from the film. Since Lana Wachowski normally does not release deleted scenes, we probably won't know from future releases unless someone provides the original script. Does Sati work in the coffee shop? If so, why is she always shown sitting down and reading a book, rather than behind a counter? And is Sati's shop the same shop as the one where Skroce works and Tiffany visits, or a different one? (Another channel mentioned two coffee shops, but on second viewing, that didn't appear to be the case.) Thanks!

On my third viewing, I'm beginning to think Sati is in a different shop. There's a chance it's the noodle shop. But on Thomas Anderson's second visit, he holds out his hand with all five fingers spread as if saying "five", at which Sati winks, clicks her tongue, and points ("you got it"). Unlikely that's a noodle order. Also, it looked like someone (Tiffany?) leaves the shop with a package. So I'm still confused about these scenes. The one thing I'm certain of is that Sati is NOT part of the video games marketing team. Freema Agyeman ("Doctor Who") plays Astra, who IS part of that team, and even appears in the post-credits scene. I'd been trying to spot her since the first viewing and finally succeeded!

I don’t believe Trinity is the One. I believe Neo has always been the One because he did something that no other One has done… pass along his source code and disrupted the Matrix’s cycle. I believe Trinity flew in Resurrections because deep down she wasn’t done fighting. She expressed this during her conversation with Neo in the coffee shop. Neo didn’t and couldn’t fly because he was done fighting, he said so in the dojo.

I have been thinking about this question since I saw the matrix resurrections the first time. I have seen that for myself a lot of what you’re saying. I actually thought that may be something in Trinity‘s kiss of Neo did actually bring him back in the first movie. But I have it activate his source code is a new thought.
