Trinity Wing Chun is an event which holds Wing Chun Competitions
This is a video on the new Wing Chun Trinity Events. Which will be international events focused on Wing Chun unity and development.

Overall, I really like this format, especially how you have to have control and land a combination to earn a point rather than just trading cheap shots. I also like it that you must first have bridge contact before you land a punch. A couple of questions though: 1. Can you earn points for sweeps and throws? and 2. Why no controlled front thrust or stomp kicks to the front of the thigh above the knee? Our group has had no injury issues with those, but then again you may be going at it lot harder, especially in competition.

Many thanks ! Yes Sweeps and throws earn points. We use all kicks in normal Chi Sao but in competition they would be less safe.

what about wrist locks, can i do a kotegaeshi? can i do a lock to all four fingers at once like in ibjjf rules? (those are much safer and can be used like holds) can i do a sankyo which is like a wrist crank and an elbow crank but can be safely held if executed in chi sau? sankyo (this is also an example of a four finger lock) i.ytimg.com/vi/u71nroaAXnM/maxresdefault.jpg kotegaeshi i.ytimg.com/vi/ll1GCzl4Bxg/maxresdefault.jpg i ask because "small joints" and "attack" are open to interpretation and these locks are very viable and a part of chi sau to people who know them.

The problem is the lack of time to tap with small joint attacks
