Anchorage is now reported as the busiest airport in the world during the pandemic due to its geographical position !! Amazing !! The women looked a bit "loopy" anyway. Bet you were glad you were not sitting next to her mate !! Great take off vision and sound !! The Northern Lights vision was excellent !! Glad YOUR nuts were warm....at least that woman did not try and elbow them !! Love the way all airlines in America call this 1st Class...here in Australia Business Class at best !! I am tipping the on board food. !! Poor bugger !! Thanks mate and stay safe and well !!!

Glad you didn't have to sit next to that lady, she might have tried to take you out mid-flight. I have flown several of Alaska's -900's but all of them were ER's with one being on its first day of service and the others were never more than a couple of months old.

Studies were done (research and development) to show it saved the customer money to NOT have inseat IFE, it saved leg room, and the overall experience was better using your own device than when a seatback IFE screen breaks or doesn't work properly due to ware and tear. Faster to update the website for IFE rather than seatback screens which takes the entire airplane out of service, which causes revenue issues, ultimately affecting the passenger.

It‘s funny that Alaska isn‘t Alaska airlines main hub, It‘s actually seattle-tacoma! I find it quite strange to know its Alaska airlines and not seattle airlines or somthing, But other than that a fellow seattle tacoma resident proudly says seattle in amazing! Execpt for the protests 0-0

Yes you’re on a 737-900. Not all of the aircraft have been retrofitted at this time but are being worked on. The only reason you were offered a chicken sandwich is because you were in the 4th row and that’s all that was most likely left. You can preorder what you’d like from the menu before your flight on their website. Just a heads up on a few things that you didn’t mention.

While I have never had food poisoning from an airline meal,I have had it from a fast food meal,Taco Bell to be precise, thinking it was the lettuce in my hard shell taco. My friend and I were driving to an airline collectibles show in Dallas, threw up all night at the Red Roof Inn,stomach was still queasy the next morning. When checking out, told the desk clerk I had an 'accident' in the room,"What kind of accident?" "You'll find out!" I'm guessing when flying from Cold Bay back to Anchorage, you had a 3+hr layover, connecting with AS,having spent about 2 days in Anchorage. Really surprised the cabin crew didn't harp on you about your filming--had this been AA,there would've been lots of noise made--a pleasant surprise with your abrupt at-home comment about the lady in FC--my bucket list includes flying on AS from SEA-ANC,ride the Alaskan RR to Fairbanks and back, staying some days in Anchorage and Fairbanks, then fly home
