good memories from a pre-COVID pre-war world. Europe to China by train is likely to not be possible again in the next 100 years.

Absolutely great memories on this. I truly hope this would be possible sooner than we might think.

Is there only this train from nur sultan? And how many hours of travel does it take from nur sultan to Almaty Timmings at both ends please
@Trainviking4 жыл бұрын
There are more trains on this route. The travel time depends on the train you take. There was a train earlier, that made more stops along the way, so the travel time was longer, and that train also had chairs. The prices where lower in general on that train as well. I think the travel time was something like 13 hours on my train, what is perfect for a sleeper train, there's enough time to sleep and you can enjoy a bite and a drink in the dining car as well.

There is no double decker trains in Kazakhstan.
@Trainviking4 жыл бұрын
As far as I know there are no double decker trains indeed. Because it's such a low populated area, I don't think there is any need for double decker trains.
