I take a flight for a Trip Report on the Etihad A380 Business Class on that rarest of beasts, the A380. I'll show you exactly what it's like, from those bigger, wider, superjumbo seats, to the Arabian delicacies in a la carte catering, all the champagne and cocktails on board, and a full tour of the inflight winebar.

May I add - it is great to hear detailed review of the drinks on offer. Many give a curt regard for the cocktails and wines as they do define the committed invetment by the airline associated with the class of travel.👍

Cracking review. Love the commentary. Warm nuts are a must. Based in Perth, it is hard to get on an Etihad flight. You seem to be on a plane internationally every week and regularly in Australia. Let me know what gig I should get to do that!

Did the same flight myself in November albeit the evening A380 departure. Highlight was the table service in the lounge at LHR for drinks and nibbles, very impressed . The onboard experience was good but not spectacular but would still fly again and indeed I have to on my return journey

A good review although I couldn't cope with so much alcohol. Interesting that since you compiled this, EY has increased its AUH-LHR return trips to four per day, not three, so its lounge at LHR T4 must be receiving a greater amount of use. Thank you for mentioning Dan Murphy's, Australia's #1 liquor chain, owned by listed ASX company Endeavour Group.

Very entertaining review. I've flown Eithad business many times before Covid and the seat, food, crew and T4 lounge were excellent. Seems post-Covid the food (and maybe crew) have dropped in standard. The bar area is poor - a small, dark space compared to the bright, open space on Emirates. But I still love Etihad.

I don't get what you mean? Are you saying the whole Etihad experience is 'Tosh'? Or just the seat? It's quite aged, true, but works well. Or the food? Which is downgraded since Etihad of old. Or the IFE? Or the lounge? That has definately seen better days.
