I flew with Emirates from Dubai to Dallas 2 years ago. Loved the video. The reason to fly was special and enjoyed my journey. It was a comfortable flight and the highlight was the good food. Emirates serves very well. The flight time was 16 hours too.

I am travelling to San Francisco end October this year by emirates. Hope it will be a good experience. I am 74 years old with serious walking issue. Hope emirates airlines will take care of me and will give me good seat to stretch my left leg comfortably.

There is a big difference between the 777 variants. It's like with a car brand. BMW for example. You got the 520i, 525i, 530i, M 540i, M5. It's not just a BMW 525. Same here with the 777-200. There are 4 completely different versions. 1. 777-200 : First been built. No airline flies it anymore. Range : 10.000 km. 2. 777-200 ER Extended Range. The second introduced because of the demand from various airlines for wider range. Range : 12500 km. 3. 777-200 F Freighter. Same as the ER. 4. 777-200 LR Long Range. Same engines like the beast 777-300 ER. Added fuel tanks in the horizontal stabilizers. Range : 17500 km. Big differences. Right ?

2:51 I like to sit at the back too, for that reason only; but also I am behind the wings, and I get to hear some very cool nose for takeoff, midflight, and landing! So that is a big pro of sitting at the back for me! Though, at least when in midflight, you should always try to opt for a seat towards the front of the cabin, and next to the isle (no, in these international carriers, I can tell you, you don't need to have a window seat, you can use the IFE screen for your views, just look for camera; and plus the views can be seen more deeply from the IFE screen as compared to looking out the window), so that you get served the meals first when it's time for meals, and you seem kind of like a special passenger, and a lot of other cool stuff. At least for takeoff and landing, I like to sit at the back. I am talking about if I am in Emirates A380 Business Class or First Class, when there is an on board bar at the back, I can maybe sit at that bar, and keep my seatbelts on, for listening to the noise of takeoff and landing; and then move to my luxurious seat for everything else during mid flight!

@@Armanii2795 Well since the prices rose from 5000aed to 13,000aed I went with qatar instead. The nature of the long haul flight was something I've never experienced before. You feel so confined but the plane is big so you feel like you can move around as well. Its bizarre

Great video! Gosh! That’s a really long time to be on a plane! You flew on their 777-200LR (Long Range). Didn’t realise they were still in Emirates’ fleet! The cabin looked comfy and bright. Can see they had refurbished the seats. Liked and subscribed 😊

I purely thought the longest north american destination was from DXB to LAX, but I have just noticed that from DXB to IAH is the longest one, the DXB to LAX and DXB to DFW both north american flights are almost same long-haul flights duration time.

I specifically feel excited when I board Emirates Airbus A380 from Dubai Expo Livery (you know that blue in background, it's an Airbus A380, it says "BE PART OF THE MAGIC" on one side, and "DUBAI EXPO" on the other side ; you should hopefully know what I am talking about)

Hey 👋 it means they check again all your Bags before entering the flight ✈️ usually for US flights they are very picky about items you can bring on the flight

The 777 is really the worst plane for flying long haul its just to small plus you have to walk threw buisness to get to economy class so its extra cringy .
