I travelled from Kutná Hora to Prague aboard semi-fast train / Spěšný vlak Sp Vrchlice. Kutná Hora is one of the most beautiful and historically significant cities in the Czech Republic. This train consists of Škoda (class 150.2) locomotive and older coaches built by Waggonbau Bautzen.

Very good video. The yellow train, is not my favourite. But the couch with the opening windows, I really like. I took, one week ago, the Rychik Rozmberk between Ceske Budejovice and Brno hl.n. I also was going this route from Kolin to Havlickuv Brod. I went by my currently favorite trainset (650.2) Regiopanter. Was great and very comfortable in 1st class.

Thanks so much for watching! I think the A149 coaches are one of the best, but after delivery of all ordered RegioPanters will be replaced. The Rychlík Rožmberk is nice, I also took this train :-)

Nice video! Koukání z otevřeného okna je pravý pocit z cestování. To je jeden u důvodů proč mám rád naše rychlíky R11 a nerad chodím do Bbdgmee. Až béčka a áčka zmizí, tak mi to bude chybět. Like

To jsou ty šílený bývalý nemocniční vozy , co mají místo oteviracich oken jen ventilačky.. hezčí to bylo v koženkách, které na sluníčku pěkně pálily... Samozřejmě lepší než nic ..a než smradlavý klima Elefanty

Nice video, as always, thanks. I travel by this train every week from Cesky Brod to Prague. It's really terrible train and the 2nd class cars are worth scrapping. No leg room, no room for hands, doors often out of order, same for heating. Really terrible

Díky moc! Je to tak, podle oběhů už jsou 150.2 turnusované skoro jen na tyto spěšné vlaky, občas jsem je viděl ještě na Hradčanech, ale asi už tam moc výkonů nemají..

zlatý Ačka a Béčka můžem vykouknout z okna :DD dost mi to chybí jo a zkus natočit Os U1 z děčína do kadaně může být panter nebo Bdmtee či Bfvpee neboli sysel :D

You were lucky that Sp 1528 between Kutna Hora and Kolin wasn't cancelled, like it happened to me last September. Luckily, Sp 5956 was a little late, so I was still able to reach Sp 1528 in Kolin 😉. It's the first time I've seen an A149 with black seat upholstery. This seems new. What happens to the A149 when they are replaced by RegioPanter?

Yes, fortunately this year trains are already running on this line along the entire route and quite reliably. This A149 coach has been restored, the original red seat covers are now replaced with these gray ones in the current design. The last 15 A149 coaches remained, the other A149s were downgraded to B209 2nd class coaches. After the arrival of the new units, these coaches will probably be used as a backup for other lines (ČD still has a shortage of 1st class coaches).

No mohli tam dát ty dečky pod hlavu, každopádně auferové áčko vypadá hezky. Je to rozhodně lepší než ty původní červený.

Také mě to napadlo, ale asi už to pro spěšňák který doplňuje jiné vlaky ve špičce nechtěli dávat.

Video jako obvykle na 1.! 😁Ty záběry z těch otevřených oken jsou bezvadné. Stále si chci představit jak soudružky chtěli používat ty Honeckry jako evakuační vlak. Nevíš o tom něco?

Mockrát díky! :-) Ty vozy Bdmtee byly plánované pro případnou rychlou přestavbu k použití v nemocničních vlacích a k prvním dvěma třetinám dodaných vozů byla dokonce dodána i výbava (lůžka a další vybavení).

I still find these cars more comfortable than some new trains, even if they were a little nicer with imitation leather. The only real drawback are the folding windows.

Bdmtee coaches are not very popular here, especially because of the lack of legroom and the folding windows. But on the contrary, it's good that these coaches are divided into 3 sections, which is better than open space on the new trains.

Good video, Pete, I assume you live in or near Prague. Where is the closest spot to the city to see a lot of freight action? I plan on staying in Prague for at least 5 days with my Eurail Pass

Thank you :-) If you are interested in freight trains, the best is probably near the corridors in one of the smaller stations such as Poříčany.

I think when you described the locomotive as having a maximum speed of 140 kmh (99 mph). That should read 160 kmh (99 mph)

Je to tak, snad ta rekonstrukce proběhne. Původní plán byl 2024/2025, ta stanice by měla projít rekonstrukcí a měly by vzniknout další nástupiště.
