TRIP REPORT | United Airlines Boeing 757-200 | Chicago to Newark | Economy Class (HD)

For today's video, here is a full flight experience on board United Airlines' Boeing 757 from Chicago O'Hare to Newark!
This flight was United Airlines Flight 1611 UAL1611/UA1611 with service to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (KORD/ORD) from Newark Liberty International Airport (KEWR/EWR).
The aircraft I flew was N17105, a Boeing 757-224/WL, which had its first flight in July 1994, making the aircraft 23.2 years old at the time of this flight.

FLIGHT EXPERIENCE :
Information about Delta Airlines : United Airlines is one of the "big 3" carriers of the United States, and serves many destinations in the world internationally with a large variety of aircraft. United is headquartered in Chicago and is a founding member of the Star Alliance. It has a mainline fleet size of 754 aircraft with 342 total destinations.
Seats : I chose a seat in the United Economy section of this Boeing 757 aircraft. On United's 757-200's, they offer Polaris Business Class, Economy Plus, and Economy. The seat configuration in business class is 2-2, while other two classes are 3-3. In Economy, the seat pitch is 31" with 5" of recline. Seat width ranges from 16.3"-17.1". I felt that the legroom was sufficient for the flight (I am 5'8") and that the seats were comfortable. The recline was also fine for a short flight like this. United offers WiFi onboard their aircraft but you must pay to access the internet. The United website with the flight tracker is free though. All seats on this Boeing 757 had power outlets for free, but only the Business Class section had additional USB ports. Food/Beverage : On this flight, United offered complimentary snack and drink service. Drinks included the standard water, coffee, sodas etc, and the snack selections were mini pretzel twists, honey roast sesame sticks, and cheese corn sticks. Flight Attendants : The flight attendants on board this flight were excellent. All of the crew members were kind and welcoming and seemed to be enjoying their jobs very much. They were all very attentive and polite. No complaints about this!
Delays : We were scheduled to being boarding at 12:55pm, but the aircraft was late in being towed to the gate. United also overbooked the flight so we had to wait a bit for some passengers to take a different flight. We ended up boarding half an hour late and departed 45 minutes late, but landed pretty much on time.
In-Flight Entertainment : On United's Boeing 757 aircraft, personal TV's were located on the seat backs of every Economy seat. Several movies, TV shows, audio options and games were available for free. United also had their Hemisphere magazine in the seat pocket. In Flight WiFi was also offered on the flight for a fee. Baggage Costs : I did not choose to check in any bags, I put my luggage in the overhead compartments. If I did check a bag, it would have to weigh under 50 lbs and not exceed over 62 inches in total dimensions (length + width + height). Baggage size is different for the other service classes. Overall, I was very happy with my flight onboard this United Airlines Boeing 757-200. The aircraft was in great shape and the crew was very friendly and attentive. Although we did leave Chicago late, we arrived at Newark on time so it wasn't issue. I will definitely be using United again for my future travel needs out of Newark!

I like the 757, but they are getting old and will hopefully be replaced in 2025 by the Boeing 797
