I was admiring the almost fluorescent green wing colour thinking that it was that colour to stand out in the snow, if the worst happened! Once you were airborne above the clouds I realized that the colour was due to the de-icing fluid! Duh! Thanks again for yet another detailed and enjoyable report Alex. Cheers, Colin.

My favorite airline. I fly with them between inuvik white and then to Edmonton or Calgary. Yes you are right about the crew being friendly on all my flights there helpful and great sense of humor. Alot of there customer's are there friends and family from the Yukon

Brilliant video! You got a really nice wing view on a B737-500. You're lucky to fly on it because it's a rare plane since many airlines were retired it on their fleet nowadays. I always enjoy watching trip report during the winter as I love the de-icing :D. If I have a chance, I will fly on an A330-900neo. Thanks for sharing your amazing trip report! Guess what? Those seats with the Heart in them are from Southwest Airlines here in the States, so they probably leased the older 737 from them or bought it. Nothing like a flight on a 30 plus year old plane. Hehe

Outstanding trip report as always! I’ve had much worse when it comes to de-icing, as the spray somehow froze over and messed up my view for the entire flight.

You’ll have to make a trip up north and truly experience airnorth, tho I’m kinda biased they are and amazing airline with amazing staff, you don’t get the full experience until you visit home base and the fresh cookies

Im not sure by what you mean by charter. Air North is a regular scheduled Airline with filghts from Whitehorse Yukon to Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, DawsonnCity, Old Crow and Inuvik. I might have even missed a few places. It also does charters as well.

In 2001 a lady in Edmonton totally reprimanded me for taking a photo of the plane that would be my first flight parked at the gate. Today we record the whole place in HD. I’d like to talk to that lady now.

I had the same thing happen to me in 2003 at Newark when a Janitor tried to tell me it was illegal. I told him to show me a signthat said that. He couldn't so he then said he would get airport security so I told him to go right ahead which he did and when the officer should up he said the only thing that I wasn't alouto photograph was airport security and customs.

The 600 ,400, 300, 200 and 100 series don't come with winlets. I know many airlines have up graded there 500s with them and there are sill 800s and 700s out there that were built before the winglets were introduced where the oowners have not upgraded them.

What do iou mean by that. The last time I flew with them I hot a propper meal on a YVR toYXY flight. You can't say ghat a out most glights under 2 hours now a days.
