Also it was originally called “Ascolta La Voce” instead of “Know” when Lara first introduced it on stage decades ago. It’s Dimash way of kinda reminds us of that he would be singing a vocalisation version instead of Know the lyrics version by starting and ending it with “Ascolta La Voce”.

He had been planning on singing a different Armenian song, but wasn't sure he would be happy with his pronunciation, then he heard this song, and had to sing it. He learned it in one day. He sounds like an instrument. Just incredibly, intensely emotional and beautiful. I don't think he will sing it at the concert on May 4th, though. ❤

Know Vocalise usually comes about two thirds into the concert. It gives everyone (including Dimash) a bit of a calming down moment. The audience are utterly mesmerised, and Dimash goes where the moment takes him, his soul completely free to express in whatever way it chooses. It's beautiful. I missed the live stream but jumped on a couple of hours after you finished! Have you ever heard Dimash's version of Blizzard Again? It's absolutely gorgeous. There are only two Dimash versions online, one is a duet with one of the original singers (a nice version, it is live, but he seems very young and a little nervous and of course only sings half of it since it's a duet), and the other is a compilation video with him singing alone (much better). It's from the Dimashzone channel - and that one is my favourite. It's a beautifully put together video. The song was originally sung in Russian, but Dimash sings the Kazakh version with different lyrics. Please check it out, I know you will love it. I am really looking forward to the Budapest concert and soooo hope I meet up with you. I will be looking out for you all the time!! The tall guy and the shiny guy right??🤣🤣🤣 BTW I have never ever heard him mention how he plans or what he plans with regard to improvisations in his songs. I think I have watched everything out there by now, and no he doesn't ever give us any clues. I honestly think he wings it every time, or if he doesn't wing it he keeps his planning very secret. Otherwise how would he surprise us? He is a mystery and he likes being a mystery.

Screaming was Dimash's first ever song released in English. ❤ to be honest I cant see him singing any of these songs, he hasn't sung them in concert forca long time. He always sings SOS, Olympico and Golden, sometimes Just Let it Be but at recent concerts he has been singing his recent songs and he could possibly introduce some more new ones.

Does Dimash prepare improvisations? Of course he is, because the best improvisation is the one that is well rehearsed. but nevertheless, this is Dimash, music lives in him and he lives by music, so not everything is so simple. in a private conversation with fans, fans asked the same question about improvisation, only it sounded a little different. only the question was: isn’t Dimash afraid of losing this musical thread when he sang his incredible vocalises.
