I won’t lie, I teared up multiple times. If ever a posting lived up to the channel name, this was it! The fact the kids understood the need for cleanup and were already in the garden working was a testament to the wonderful upbringing they have. Taking 3 days of family time shows them how important they are. To see Kira in her dress with a pinwheel running to meet her grandparents tore me up. My kids are all gone, exploring their own life journey, now I am the visiting grandparent. Never had a daughter, but I feel I now have two. I would so love all over the girls and be totally happy to be wrapped around their fingers. You two are an amazing example of good parenting, wholesome teaching, and good simple living. Thank you

My oldest girl is turning 16 next week! She was the baby we were told we would never have. But at the old age of 38, we did have her, and two more over the next 3 years. The time flies! I miss holding that little girl as she fell asleep in my arms, but like you I am in awe of the young lady she has become. The video was fantastic as always. Awwwww... Happy Birthday to Jeremy, Nivea and Kira - that is so sweet that all three share the same birthday. 28 years ago my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and at 8 months pregnant we were told that he wouldn't be likely to make it to see our youngest born in a month. But, one month later, he had gone through surgery, radiation and was starting chemo and she arrived - on his 41st birthday. We've celebrated their double day every year since and so many years on, he is still with us. Growing up/older together is amazing and a blessing. I know you'll find a way to connect on your triple birthday every year no matter where everyone is.

I think what I like most about watching your videos the last couple of years has been not the building (although I love that, too!), because building videos abound on KZbin. What I really like the most has been the family - watching the kids grow and learn, seeing the adults they will turn out to be; seeing you two interact and parent together, hearing the lessons you teach at the end of each video. So, I have three daughters (Samantha (21), Carlee (19), and Addison (12)). Watching this episode really, REALLY jerked on my soul this afternoon. Such a lovely family. Great job on the weeding of the garden. There is a weed you might want to hang on to. It is called purslane. The leaves are delicious in salads. The leaves are a frost green color and the stems are a reddish -pink color. It grows flat to the ground in a circular pattern. If allowed to grow, the stems can shoot upward as well. Every time I see a little bit of your life that you share with the world. I just smile. Your children have grown up wonderfully. Lots of love and respect for each other in your household. Your home is beautiful. And the surrounding area. I remember when I lived in Eagle Idaho for 10 years. Yes it’s a little bit of work. And you need to stick to a schedule. I love what your family represents so very much! Your are a most beautiful example of what family life can be like, with a splendid balance between work and play, family and individual choice, learning for all, wisdom, humor, cooperation, caring and compassion for others, personal freedom and human rights, responsibilities, PURE JOY and accomplishment!! Especially in these times but for all time. You folks are an almost magical example for each other and for all of us, -your privileged viewing audience. Thank you from the deepest part of my highest and best self and being. Now sick and in my 70s, I wish I had had you folks as an example before and during my marriage and the Raising of my children. Having grown up living a life with so much dysfunction, regret, neglect, and destruction of the human spirit, without self-esteem, knowledge, joy or wisdom. My/our family story could profoundly represent a childhood and family life gone as wrong as yours is filled with goodness, beauty, responsibility, respect, learning, growth, inspiration, wisdom and Pure Joy. I tried but without knowledge and understanding I focused on surviving and wanting someone to love me. I/we missed the mark. I believe in human potential and the possible of all goodness for humanity but there is such a lack of knowledge, understanding, wisdom and too much misunderstanding and evil in the world of humankind for much well-being and righteousness to exist. If and when people decide it is their responsibility to unite and make the changes and choices for goodness, understanding and well-being for humanity and the planet, it can and will be ours; unless we damage, destroy and eliminate too much before we awaken to that reality. It is totally within our hands, hearts, minds and spirits as people to figure out how and make it so. But it looks like our time is fast running out while we are waiting, denying, ignoring and blaming others for not solving the evil and injustice we justify, ignore or bitch about and haven't figured out how to change. It is our choice, yours and mine. Your family is a valuable and a powerful example of how so much rightness can be accomplished by one family. We need more examples of goodness and success in all areas of life. You are extremely valuable and a blessing to all.
