do magnetic minions go back into the pool if you magnetise them? or solong as the minion its magnetised too stays on the board, they dont return to pool?

late in metas I usually choose to trim down the game a bit. There's nothing interesting here imo as we've done this same thing 1000s of times now. And it trims out 2-3 minutes of monotony.

are they though? seems like they still survive vs the same scenarios and you're voluntarily decreasing your magnetic count on the stack. I'd argue it could be good if you wanted to ping a mantid/matador by attaching a shield or something, but windfury seems like a tough argument imo If anything they are ever so slightly more likely to die but it would take 2-3 instances of that making a difference before the loss from attaching the magnetic up front (compounding each turn) is outvalued by the open space created by the utility dying. And its not like we can fill over 10 hand spaces anyway afterwards.

Its a problem when my 8k lobbies have 2+ leavers just because of a bad quest. Wording this is a bit nightmarish for my pathetic gray matter.

I would have had a foe reaper on that board from the first time I found one, nothing gives me more satisfaction playing this dumb game than seeing one of those giant swipes connect.

the problem with that is you're losing your exponential scaling line. As soon as you attach the magnetic stack to the reaper, you're done scaling. You can't swap, triple, or any other method to keep applying every magnetic back x7 for each effect.

@@bofur Yeah you would have to start a new stack... But, it is a price I am willing to pay to see those swipes. A lot more feasible when you hit the infinite gold though.

I personally hate Replicating Menace because the Deathrattle can grief you hard on Reborn minions. Really wish you could take it off or something. Also agree on nobody enjoying Beasts. I think they need a rework to be summon based in a more fun way you build up to rather than a specific broken combo between Goldrinn and Slamma (they should just remove Slamma already imho)

upside/downside. Having choices the benefit short-term and grief long-term (or vice-versa) make the game more complex. I love 'em!

You definitely overestimate the gold situation. If you had one gold magnet on the stack it would only ADD 6 each time you apply it, you get crazy gold when you have like 5+ of them on one stack and a couple boxers because then youre ADDING like 10 gold per attachment per boxer. By the time your turn is done in the endgame with 30+ gold you can be attaching multiple times so it looks like youre adding more than you are.

not with fluidity + double header. We're duping it for each effect (each beatboxer and the doubling of the core stack from double header). What you're saying is just factoring in the first part. Basically, once we find a few dozen extra gold in 1-2 turns, then we fish for fluidity for each turn, swap the stack back into the tavern and then duplicate that stack, then attach it x6 to the board again. The base stack can then be doubled as well (with the 2nd magnetic stack in hand created from double header), which turns the next turn into x14/x28 + the base +6g twice on each beatboxer value from this turn. The following to x56/112 + the base 28/56 twice (depending on what we hit). The base 6x multiplier is the bare minimum. With this quest it's waaaaay more when you can double the base stack each turn w/ fluidity + header. This is simply factoring ONLY fluidity + double header extra magnifications. Once we get 30g+ per turn we're gonna start buying up every magnet as well and tripling/reapplying multiple times each turn as well. We've done this a bunch of times on stream. Going from 15g 1 turn to 500g a few turns later (and that's without the 2x multiple from double header) All you need is the econ/flexibility to always have fluidity in hand at the end of a turn and this just ramps out of control crazy fast.

personal opinion: beasts are the most hated and unfun tribe to play because it's the only tribe that doesn't involve any tipe of scaling (in tavern or in combat)

They also appear to have the highest reliance on combat RNG. Hitting or missing snipes decides combat way more than with other tribes. Then there's also the length of combat with them due to all the deathrattle animations and buffs triggering. Tons of little things add up to make everyone hate beasts.

Now I've seen it, oh that feels good, happen to someone else. Ohh yeah. Blizzards attempt to balance high roll, is soooo fuck you. It stops being funny at some point. And that point is when you roll 50 or 60 boards to find your final key piece to your combo. It doesn't matter what tier that piece is on or that you alone are playing that tribe. You just don't hit.
