Triple H more often than not has always been accused of sleeping his way to the top by marrying the boss's daughter and while that can be debated in a whole other conversation, there is no denying his commitment and passion to the company. He has one of the most creative and sharpest minds ever but has done a complete U-turn in his career, from burying talent to now wanting to help everyone by giving back to the business by passing the torch to the younger guys who will carry the company into the future. In my honest opinion, ever since Hunter took over Vince's position, he has so far done a fantastic job with the creative and actually made WWE fun to watch again. To think that we almost lost him not too long ago and so glad he's doing alright now.

It always kind of amazes me that the same people saying he'd be nothing without Vince's daughter seem to forget that relationships fall apart all the time. What if him and Stephenie had an ugly breakup? Especially after WCW went belly up, then what? I'm probably stupid, but I honestly believe the two of them genuinely fell in love and have stayed that way.
@WarhawkBeyond2040
@WarhawkBeyond2040 6 ай бұрын
Exactly and people always say he only got to the top position because of his involvement with the boss's daughter but forget he was already a 3 time champion by the time they hooked up as well as being the biggest heel in the company. The fact that Hunter and Stephanie have been married for more than 20 years now is proof that their relationship is 100% real.

I think on a subconscious level, he had a sort of attraction to Stephanie because she's the boss's daughter and commands that kind of respect and power, and he's attracted to power. They are made for each other and absolutely in love and hope to have a marriage like theirs.

He didn't end up on pain killers and what not. Cus he didn't have to endure Injuires whilst expected to work on or lose his spot. Cus he was with steph he'd never lose his spot. So he could take time off to heal without fear of losing his spot. The same reason why he got away with taking steroids.

I think it was Jim Cornette who suggested the idea of the Montreal Screwjob, not HHH. Also, I think HHH is not like Vince. All wrestlers claim how the environment has changed since he took over. It's calmer, less pressure, more focused on the wrestler and their wellbeing, more creative freedom, etc. Hence, I wouldn't call him an authoritarian. And you know, props to him. He's always had a brilliant wrestling mind, so I'm glad it's him who took over from Vince.

Wrong...HBK and Vince were talking about the fact that Bret didn't want to lose the belt until the next night on Raw and HHH threw the idea out there because he felt that neither Shawn or Vince wanted to verbalize the thing
@zeromagnum2811
@zeromagnum2811 5 ай бұрын
Everyone on the creative team but pritchard suggested to job Bret by force since he refused to lose to Shawn. Cornette said it, Russo said it, HHH said if he wont do business do business for him. Ultimately the boss told Bret what he wanted and he refused and was leaving. Bret played a creative control card and couldnt be fired because he was leaving, so while not ideal or great morally. I understand fully why they did Bret that way. That was Vince's call and as much Bret's fault as anyone else. By choosing to be petty whether Shawn deserved it at the time he should have been professional and checked ego at the door. or taken less money and stayed in WWE then he'd have never wrestled Goldberg at starrcade to get his career ended.

Triple H, ddnt care what everyone else think about his relationship with Stephanie, but he asked Taker, and Taker told him, if you love her, don't matter what everyone think. So we can chose to be negative, but fact will remain he is the boss of wwe, don't matter how he got it. Even Batista used the "slept his way to the top" card but HHH pit him in his place, telling him, he must not be bothered how he got that power, but be bothered that he holds such power. Besides That, he has worked hard to cement his position, which sees him as the greatest rivalry to Shane as the other power behind wwe. Remember Shane bought out WCW before merging together.

I find this documentary a bit depressing. It took me way too long to realize that business should never be the most important thing in one's life. You'll tell yourself that you're only going to put this amount of time or as soon as this deal is taken care of you will spend more time with your family. But then you look at the time, and it's been 15 -20 years, and you've missed damn near everything that is truly important. And then you'll try to make up for that lost time, but you can't because you've missed the beginning. And just like if you've missed the first part or half of a movie, you won't understand it. The same goes with people. You miss the beginning parts your probably not going to understand them. Who they truly are. Hopefully, he'll realize this before it's too late, I know she has. Also, the body needs more than 3 hours of sleep a night, or his ass will end up in the e.d and o.r again.

I don't think HHH abused steroids. Because he would've never kept his job as a competitor nor would've had the power in the business if it wasn't controlled. So I believe he was under doctor's supervision when he was bulk. And he cycled off when he needed to. He was never suspended or reprimanded for his use. He never had problems at home with Stephanie, but I'd say steroids played a factor because of how long he competed in the ring at his highest peak. So, I believe over the course of his career, He had undiagnosed heart disease that was unpreventable with or without the use of steroids. little by little after 25yrs in the business, his heart became weak as the true cause of his life-altering heart failure because of his family history of heart disease. I do, too.

Should make a movie about Trips. His wrestling career and his ultimate move to running the show. Would be dope.

Most bosses who tend to lack patience and strategic thinking, usually put their ego above anything else and are irrational in making decisions. They are desperate for power. But their are some who have great patience and are master strategists. Such individuals can also be cunning, manipulative and deceptive. To them power is everything, but they are not desperate to get it. They know with enough time and effort, they will get what they want. Slowly they will be making moves that will easily beat out their opponents, step by step, to reach the end of the ladder. Triple H is a true Machiavellian indeed.
