From a woman’s perspective, no contact works every time. No matter who dumped who. I recently did it unintentionally to move on and heal but it was NOT to try to get him back first. My attraction for him didn’t change at all. Usually attraction is never the root issue for the breakup. However, If you want to get an ex back, you have to understand why you two broke up, consciously work on starting a NEW relationship (because the last one was a flop) with each other, so you don’t breakup again. If that’s not the goal, use no contact to move on and find someone new and don’t care if she comes back or not.

During this quarantine and prolonged self isolation, I was cheated on, long distance. Been doing no contact for a week. It’s been challenging. It USUALLY makes the other person comes back but that's not REALLY the point of it - the point of it is for your OWN mental healthy and happiness. So true. I'm on day 58 and I'm really feeling better about myself and not thinking about my ex anymore in a painful way. We were together 4 years and she left me for our neighbor and moved in with him after 2 months. That'll probably crash and burn because she didn't take time for herself and self reflect. Underclass H3r0 Had a similar situation. With GF for 3 years then caught her texting and meeting up with another guy. Within a few days of moving out, she already had him over. It truly demonstrates the character of the person and how thankful we should be that it happened prior to marriage or children. My advice would be to stop counting the days and to stay off these videos if they become a habit for you. I’m in month 4 and I still long for her at times, but I’m much better off now

Just don't respond... It's basically doing nothing for that person, like they don't even exist. No contact through text is one of the easiest forms actually... You can block, delete them or something. You can even say "hey if you don't stop texting me I'm going to block you". I call that the middle field... It's when you don't want a hateful sentiment about you and you want to keep things friendly and healthy. If you don't care about that... Just block. It may be harsh, it may be cold, the other person might be offended and resentful... But if things are not looking good, that's the best way anyways

Build a wall down the middle of the lounge room, make a roster to use other rooms, wear earplugs and glasses that give you tunnel vision, and smear something bad smelling on your top lip so you cant smell her perfume or shampoo. Good luck my friend, been there done that, it ain't fun

The single worst feeling I ever had in my life,is when I saw my ex on social media with another guy. I was in my early 20's and she broke up with me after 2 years without actually giving me any reason. It was a horrible break up all together ( much later on,she apologized for all of this ) but beacsue I didn't know better,I still kept some hope and wanted to give her some space and reach out later on.And that was also the reason I didn't delete her from social media. 3 months pass by and I see a photo of her with another dude. Is one of those moments that I will never forget. If I deleted her social profile,and just heard she was with another guy it would be much easier. So that's one thing you absolutly have to do as soon as you break up. Let them go,give them all the space they need,delete them from social media and move..on. Is that simple.
