2013, Kayak fishing camping trip for 1 week East Cap Sable Fl. way down the peninsula near the Fl. Keys. Going on my first kayak camping trip in two weeks. Got online looking for kayak packing hints and stumbled upon your videos. 3 days on the San Juan River in New Mexico. 5 of us ladies going camping, two of them with service dogs. We've been doing day trips on the Colorado River with the dogs, getting them acclimated to the kayaks. I've pretty much lived my bucket list, but now have a few new items to add. Plus a touring kayak, Mine's only 12 feet long. Thanks for your videos.

I am 30 miles from 3 lakes.. all different directions. I really enjoyed escaping vicariously through you this morning and am excited to get out there! I bought a 'Current Drives' inflatable Huey a few years back but then discovered SOT kayaking.. just bought my second (yak).. then I got the 'Fathom' plastic board from Dick's.. last week I got a fiberglass/epoxy Scott Burke board.. v-hull racer.. closeout priced.. very cool!

No, I still have my touring kayak. The SUP's are just give me more freedom when paddling and I enjoy paddling them longer distances. They seem to be easier to paddle for longer periods of time since you are using more muscles in your body to propel yourself vs mostly arms when paddling a yak.
