@@nejah.6487 Howie Mandel had Jojo Siwa on a podcast episode/ his YT channel and they spoke about her being friends with Colleen Ballinger. The general summary was that she defended Colleen and sees nothing wrong with what she's done. At one point while defending her she literally said she's been friends with her since she Jojo was 12 years old which is basically hypocritical. And she essentially called all the victims coming forward, liars. After seeing that I found out that she's apparently "friends" with a lot of creeps who have been canceled for grooming minors such as Shane Dawson, James Charles, and of course her dance coach Abby Miller. Send lingerie to an (underage) teenager 5. Doing a weird and completely inappropriate amount of oversharing to underage fans (topics ranging from venting about her divorce to talking about intimate acts with her husband) 6. I was one of the viewers of Colleen vlogs primarily starting around 2018 when she had Flynn and never really watched the Miranda character. She seemed wholesome enough from the vlogs alone so I was indeed deceived. But I do recall after she had the twins, the fans called her out on how she was undermining and trivializing Eric's traumatic experience during the birth of the twins. He was trying to share how in detail about what happened from his perspective and how little support or acknowledgment the husband/spouse goes through when a traumatic birth like that happens (their daughter almost died during the birth premie and they had to perform CPR to get her to breathe). Makes me wonder how those same fans feel about all of what has been revealed. It did seem like the folks who called her out noticed a trend in her treatment sometimes to Eric, so it's allegedly not isolated. There are times Eric doesn't really understand Colleen's behavior.

The thing about Jojo that people maybe fail to realize, is that she has been adultified by the entertainment industry. It's a rampant issue that happens with most all child entertainers, the people around them who are much more used to working with other adults, begin treating the child as an adult much earlier than normal, and because they likely are smart and they are able to pick up on the interpersonal workings of the adult world at a faster pace than most children. In order to be successful, they have to mature early. It's highly possible that Jojo doesn't even see herself as a child at the age of 12 like we all do, because of how she had to be savvy to be successful in the industry. Jojo is now old enough to realize that loyalty to those undeserving of it is useless, so her upbringing really doesn't give her a pass anymore, but it does add context and explain a lot about why she keeps doing this with her problematic friends.

The Jojo thing is so complicated because I personally believe that she is a child victim of brainwashing. However, she is an adult now, and her allegiance to child predators is currently endangering her child audience. I hope that Jojo gets therapy and will realize what really happened to her, but by then the damage to the children who worship her will be done. The victim to perpetrator cycle is the worst. I’m mad at Jojo, but I also know that to be “deprogrammed” she is going to have to rethink every relationship she’s had with adults as a minor. That realization might be so painful that it’s easier for her to be in denial about it.

The treatment she had from adults, to get her career to where it is, should not be normalised. I have baby sat her since she was young. She has a hard home life and she comes to me when she needs someone she trusts. I do have parental permission ALWAYS!!! Her parents trust me and appreciate when I get her out of the house for a while, take her for a walk or do an art project with her. I've known her since I was a child, and even though now I'm 24, I'm still a part of her life as a mentor, like an older sister, someone she can trust and always knows will help guide her in the right direction since at home she doesn't have that support. Being a mentor is one of the best things, and I'm very grateful to have been able to have an impact on my neighbor in a positive way, be there for her in the way she needs me. When all of this started people started talking very down about anyone at all who had any type of relationship with a child and was a legal adult. Which I as an Autistic adult took it as I was a gross person for whenever I helped my neighbor with her homework. But then I realized the public is just in shock right now. There are good people in this world. Boundaries need to be respected, parental permission is always needed and there are right and wrongs. As long as one is doing things in the right way and being there as a mentor in a positive way I think that's very beneficial and not harmful like what Colleen has done. The thing with Trisha is she the embodiment of things I hate about how shallow America is. Being famous bc she’s famous, etc. I can’t help but like her. I’ve tried to hate her but I cant. she might be all the things but she’s authentic. I believe what you see is what you get. She’s too honest & it’s refreshing. She’s beautiful.

I literally can not study without having one of your videos in the background. I have ADHD and I struggle to find any podcasts/music that keep me both engaged but also don't over distract me. My college grades wouldn't be where they are without you dawg. Gotta dedicate my degree to you at this point fr

There's channels on here that create music for ADHD and concentration. Give them a wee go. They help me.
