it really pisses me off when people bash Brittney for her vocals as of late. Her pop style 'baby' voice isn't her natural voice, she has a very strong, belly, powerful voice (for example look at her childhood singing videos on Disney Micky mouse shows) she covered Whitney as a child and nailed it. Her record label told her to sing that way and through doing it over the years it has ruined her voice.

That and when she performs she dances almost the WHOLE SHOW (saw her in Vegas a few years ago). The only time she’s half still is during ballads. So using an unnatural voice while consistently doing high energy dancing for about an hour and 30 minutes won’t have you sounding or looking too good

The person who made that video made it in such a way where they made their favorites look good and persons that they don't like look bad and that's unfair. If you are going to make a video like this use clips to showcase these artists best or worst vocals or both so persons can get a fair idea of the vocal capability of these artists and make their own conclusions.

javier wright For those artists that were respresented poorly in the video, Tristan did say that they could sing and had other good live performances. He's actually very good at pointing out biases etc in the videos he reacts to so I don't think he's trying to mislead his audience in any way...If you regularly watch his videos, he has covered many of these artists before so it's not like this is the only impression of them that we get.

N R I am a regular watcher of Tristan's videos and he does always point out biases, however I was talking about the video that Tristan reacted to and not Tristan's video. There are persons who will see the original video and not the one on Tristan's channel and might not see the bias in it. So I'm just saying that the person who made that video could've done a better job in terms of the way they portrayed the artists.

Ruth Rose she has had nodules in her vocal chords her whole life. Which is why when she talks she has a deep husky voice. But she learned how to sing with them and miraculously they allow her to hit notes many other singers can only dream of.nodules however, can change and new one will develop and others will disappear. Which means her voice will constantly change which takes her control away. I believe that she’s enjoying life more and actually living as opposed to singing 24/7 which put her out of place with her nodules. I’m sure she can totally get back to where she was but it will take exstensive physiotherapy on her behalf. Like learning how to sing all over again.

I didn't think Taylor could sing until I listened to an acoustic performance. I'm not into all of that pop production or her genre of music really but I just happened to watch an acoustic performance one day and was amazed by what she sounds like without all of that. She was really good. I think she sounds better. I think acoustic arrangements separate the real singers from the "pop stars" because it basically does the same thing as isolating their vocals.

That Mariah performance is unfair because she had to deal with her divorce stuff with nick cannon the day before so she missed the actual pre-taping also means she was talking all day, and probably dealing with something because LITERALLY after that bad performance, she sounded AMAZING at her Christmas shows, where she sang Hero and cried afterwards, there was definitely something going on why she missed that actual pre-taping. Mariah also has nodules since her childhood years, making her voice pretty much fragile to her surroundings and environment, plus she drinks champagne constantly.
