Triton 300 with RTX 2060 Gaming Benchmark

Alright, A lot of you guys are commenting about really good FPS in games especially with the RTX2060. All I can say is every computer will have it's differences and maybe different motherboards, builts and stuff so if you really wanna get that high FPS, I'd recommend, swap out the stock thermal paste, learn about undervolting and make sure you lift the computer up slightly to get a better airflow for your laptop. I put my laptop on a normal table with 2 tissue packets(not boxes) under both the back side corners of my triton 300 and my fan blowing directly at it. It reduces around 5c to 10c coz of the better airflow.

Raphael Lim i did to 144 fps as my screen 144hz. But seems like the fps is still low. Average is 70-90 and in team fight can go to 60. Its kinda annoying i did try msi afterburner to cap my fps 144 but still couldn’t reach. Any tips? Or cpu i5 9300h bottleneck with rtx 2060

Yes, Im facing the same issue. My dota 2 only can goes to 50-60 fps. Even I changed the dota 2 video setting from high to low, every graphics effect turn off, didnt go up my fps. Any solution? thanks in advance.

I had the same specs Triton 300. Ever notice the 2nd core was always hotter than the others? Btw my way of cooling down the laptop was changing the thermal paste to Kryonaut and same undervolting but with just slightly higher clock speed compare to yours. DotA 2 FPS was averaging around 120fps and temperatures never hit above 81C. So far its running well. FYI I never had to turn on Turbo Fan nor Cool Boost, so that’s a plus on the acoustic side. Original is Single stick 4gb 2666mhz then i upgraded to 32gb 3200mhz single stick

Oh yea, I kinda solved the camera on off without disabling the sound thing, so when you plug in your earphones, it will turn on a feature called WavesNX by Maxx audio, just go to the wavesNX, turn on then off the camera tracing. then it's solved.

Because of the difference in the cooling solution. Helios 300 is more spacious inside compared to the Triton 300. Because of its slim body Triton 300 faces some difficulties handling its thermals.

wei ling temps average without tweaking the cpu settings is around 85-94c but after tweaking it sits below 85c. What games are you planning to play?

I set the cores from 4.1ghz to 3.5ghz, with - 80 milliamps. It is 10 to 15 c lower now and not much performance drop

Zack Ralph its fine, make sure you life the fps limit to 240 if you wana get mac framerates but your screen is only 144 for even if you max it you wont gain any additional “gaming experience” from it

This is not 2020 triton 300 its 2019 model don't know how it has an rtx 2060 but the 2020 one is different with 2 separate fans and charging port at the back

I checked this model was only released a few weeks ago during covid19 lockdown. So during that time Acer has not updated their website yet. This machine is not available at all places yet, mostly available in South East Asia.
