So this sounds great. I'm sure i can buy the products from them right ? At what cost? Also after i buy the 1st two test vials for fifty dollars would i then have to re purchase two new one for another 50 dollars? and repeat every 2 months ? still think the back saving lol and the saving in salt could ease the cost pain a bit. if you cant answer these question where can i find all the info I need ? would love to try this .

Thanks for sharing! Can you tell us more about your Triton approach without ICP testing? I think in reality, the Triton Method is very very close to what many of us already employ on our systems, only a bit more meticulous. Is it just using the Triton brand additives that makes it the Triton Method, is it the large refugium? So long as the tank is healthy and thriving, does it really matter what you call it? All of these are great questions and we would love to hear about your experience! -Robert @ MD

@@BulkReefSupply Hey Robert, My comment wasn't aimed at any of the info you provided in the video. I run Triton and I am happy with the results, It's relatively easy. It's just that there is a lot of misconception circulating that we will need to replace our regular testing with ICP testing at $49 a pop or play mad scientists and need to adjust levels each and every month.

LOL, this is funny on a few levels but you are certainly spot on. I would typically use black ties on black cords but I am sitting on a ridiculously massive stockpile of white zip ties at the moment so I am just trying to use them. That is pretty much the only reason I chose white for the tank project. It is likely I won't last long and they will be replaced. Thanks for commenting and joining us here on KZbin. -Robert @ MD

Yes, the leaking is no longer an issue from what I understand. While we cannot control the availability of products from Triton, I can say that we do our best to display accurate inventory on the website so you will never be left wondering if the product is in stock or not. I love how Triton is trying to make a big push over at Marine Depot now that Triton was hammered on Bulk Reef Supply!! Be careful before you buy ANY Triton product. Their 4 part leaks and they have lost my Triton test. The chemical are great and work well but the company is horrible in customer service. Dont believe me? Read the reviews on Bulk Reef Supply.

I would not say that Triton is making a push at Marine Depot rather Marine Depot decided to bring Triton into our website as we feel it is an excellent product with satisfied users world wide. Marine Depot is very careful with selecting products and brands, we pride ourselves in only selling products we stand behind. I know the leaking containers were originally an issue but Triton has since split up the CORE7 3a and 3b liquid reagent into two separate containers with dry components. This resolved the problem and so far we are having great success. As for lost test, I cannot vouch for what happened, but I can confidently say that as a Marine Depot customer, we will do everything in our power to correct a situation of this nature in the event it occurs.
