Our old Mira shower had been installed since around 2005ish time and it was proper broken the turn knob was snapped inside and it was not warming up you couldn’t get spare parts etc and it's took until a month ago for me to say no more!!! And I ordered the Triton T80 Easi-Fit Plus shower from Screwfix next day delivery, the only issue was there was no manual so I had to print it off but it's self-explanatory and it is absolutely outstanding! Everybody loves it no more playing shower bingo just press a button and in seconds red hot water is flowing! Took me less than an hour to install and it's a choice that if something went wrong in years to come, I'd 100% not wait I'd order a new Triton within days because after seeing just how easy it was to install/use it's changed my and the family's life! Thanks Triton and thanks for the easifit series ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I 100% Recommend this shower unit... P.S The video is a great help!!!

Just replaced my old heatstore shower with this . Fairly easy to install just needed a few compression fittings and pipe from B&Q . Very pleased with this shower , definitely more efficient than my old one .

You would need a 15mm compression fitting.

I too am disappointed that the compression fittings aren't in the box. I'll need a brass nut too to complete the job. Is that 15mm too? Only the external nut diameter is closer to 25mm on my old shower. Thanks for any advice.

Just fitted same product, all work just fine, but I don't know if ok for the on off button to be light up all the time even if not in use.

The power indicator will always be on providing the shower has an electrical supply going to it, this is just to indicate there is power to the product and is intended.

Hi, I have a triton electric shower. How long should we wait for it to get warm? Also, recently it hasn’t been heating up in early mornings and late nights what could be issue ?

Try the shower head itself, remove it and allow the water to flow from the flex pipe, if the temperature controls don't change the heat of the water you can also try switching it off from the fuse board or isolation switch for a minute or 2, if that doesn't work then make sure the valve to the supply of the shower is fully open.. if all of that doesn't work.. it's recommended to replace after 4/5 years anyway.

What position should the hot and cold dial be at when placing the face plate on ....... the temp guage doesnt make sense

I have just installed this shower but there is no water coming through, plenty of water pressure up to the shower and the electric is working

Hi Alan, if there is no water coming from the shower this could be a site or product related fault, in the first instance we would advise checking that there is at least 230v going to the product to operate the inlet solenoid valve. Just fitted T80 Easi -fit plus but was unable to fit the bottom section due to not enough space because of pipe fittings but the main issue is I have power and light on the ON button but when pressed No water? Thanks for any advice

If the product is passing water with the electric supply turned off this would indicate the inlet solenoid valve is stuck open. In this instance we would advise contacting our customer experience team on 02476 372222 for further assistance.

Hi, if the fuse is tripping this is generally either an undersized fuse in place for the shower or potentially one of the elements having an issue. I have has this shower a while.... around January time it started randomly turning off mid shower.. however after a few days has been working fine until this last week. The shower at first came on for around 2 maybe 3 minutes and the went off then randomly came back on. If the shower went off mid shower and I forgot to press the off button even though no water is coming out it could randomly after even an hour come back on. Its now decided to completely not work ... all lights are on however when pressing on no water is coming through. Any help or suggestions.

Thank you for your message, If the water is stopping mid use this would usually be either an issue with the incoming voltage dropping below the minimum required 230v. Or an issue with the operation of the solenoid valve due to issue on the valve itself or on/off switch. Thank you for your enquiry and sorry to hear this. From what you have described, it would seem that your shower's Pressure Relief Device (PRD) has activated. This is a safety device, triggered to function when a build up of pressure is found within the shower unit. This would usually be due to limescale build up, kinked/damaged shower hose, or a blocked shower head. Once the device activates it would need to replaced. The part is low cost and relatively straightforward to replace and i available either from our website or via our Spares team who can advise further over the phone. I just installed the triton t80+ but the neon light remains constantly on even after i switch the button off is this a fault? it only disappears when i switch it off at the wall but that kills the power to the shower ..its just annoying to have that lit up all the time and we dont want to keep stwiching off the isolation switch on and off

Hi, even in the off position the neon indicator will be illuminated. It's essentially just an indictor there is power to the product, this should only go out if the power to the product is isolated at the isolation switch.

@@TritonShowers So am i safe in keeping the shower on all the time with neon indicator showing without turning off the shower at the main light/isolation switch..meaning id like to keep the shower constantly in on/standby mode rather than having to keep switching the light/isolation wal switch on and off as its a busy household and we use the shower 3-4times a day ..just worried if constant supply in standby will burn out any parts in the shower unit?

@@barakobam6123 Hi, keeping the shower in a standby state would not damage any of the components, however as a general rule we would always recommend isolating the power to the product whilst not in use.

Why would one off these showers NOT heat the water after fitting a new unit

If the water is cold only, we would advise in the first instance doing a pressure test to the product. They will require a minimum running pressure for the pressure switch to operate the elements. For 7.5kw-9.5kw models you will be needing 1bar running pressure and 10.5kw models will require 1.5bar running pressure. If you test the pressure and find its above the requirement then it would also be worth checking the inlet filter is clear of debris and any isolation valves for the product are fully open. If you're referring to the orange rectangular piece inside the shower, this is a pressure flag, which sits behind low pressure window. This would move in conjunction with the pressure switch up and down to show you if the shower is low pressure or not. Kind regards, Leon.

After installing, why cant I get an inbetween temp… it’s either burning hot or very cold. Water coming through fine & I admit to not seeing a pressure test carried out but the water doesn’t look like it’s low pressure…. If I turn the handle fully to the 2x red lines it’s burning hot & doesn’t go cold but when I turn it ti the single red heat sign … it goes freezing cold… anyone advise if I need a water pressure pump installing .?

We do advise that the shower should have its own water isolation should any servicing be required to the shower. However, if this is not the case then the main household stop cock would be used to isolate the water.

9.5KW mention in this device does it mean 9500 WATSS 😮? AND almost 41 Ampr power consumption???? 1 ton aircon consumes 1500 watts and 2 ton aircon is 2000watts how come it consumes 9500 watts it is like using 5 air-conditioning units at the same time

Just fitted Shower it is working put the power button isn’t lighting up. Why is this. Hot water is all good

The power neon would clip onto the back of the start/stop button, it may be that the neon has come away from it's holder behind the button. We would say checking this in the first instance, if the neon is in position but not lighting then it may be an issue with the neon itself. ridiculous design. the bottom trim is far too tight to the supply plumbing.. they should have made these with even 1cm of give to the left side of the bottom trim.
