Where about are you based? I have a 2018 Speed RS with an Austin Racing slip on ....would love to get it Tuned like this for optimum gains

@@jbsworkshop Yeah, it's not hard so much as it is tedious... To spend 15 minutes flashing the changes each time... I found that the best way is to use TuneECU to disable O2 and SAI, make your ignition table changes, raise rev limiter, etc... Then unplug O2 and install a Power Commander. Use that to do the actual tuning, and then import the PCV file into TuneECU, apply the trims and flash THAT back to the ECU. Then take out the Power Commander and sell it, or use it on the next bike of that type that you tune. Once you have that new TuneECU map built with the power commander trims, you can just sell copies of that map to people with that bike and similar mods.

@@SquireSCA it took allot of hrs doing runs & adjustments but had a nice afr in every tps setting & some solid gains in most. As soon as I turned the 02 sensor off & unplugged it the mapping was much easier. The customer left it with me a few days so I could get my head around the software. Watching your video’s helped allot during the tuning process. I have had a few people ask to buy my map but I want to build a reputation for custom built maps

@@jbsworkshop Oh yeah, you HAVE to disable and unplug the O2 sensors no matter how you plan to tune it. Gotta disable SAI as well, to make sure that your AFR readings are accurate... Glad that my videos helped! Custom maps are always best, but ECU flashes built on the same mods is typically "good enough" for most folks...

@@SquireSCA yea I disable SAI & cap it off to stop air flow as I think it only turns the fault light off not actually stop the valve from working. I know woolich software well but still learning tune ecu

Good hooligan music👍, bike is sweet. Triumph has several fuel maps for downloading, that save a ton of money vs a custom map job/$1,000, & 30-40hrs of dyno runs, beats the hell of of a bike engine. I’d only custom map it for turbo or supercharging.

Great video? At what RPM was the original Rev-limiter? Did you change the RPM of the Rev-limiter?

I left the Rev limiter standard at 10,400rpm. I generally leave most Rev limiters at standard settings for reliability & longevity

Totally depends on what bike it is,some manufactures will restrict 5&6th & some will give reduced power in lower gears

Hi there, where did you get the carbon fibre parts please? I am looking to replace probably the mudguard and the radiator faring. Mostly the radiator fairing because the finish they have used on the metal doesnt seem to be particularly durable.

If they update the ecu map then yes but I have the map saved or you ask them not to update the map if it’s not a safety recall

Do you believe that if you raise the rev limiter to 11.000 would be to risky for the engine?

On road bikes I like to leave the Rev limit to factory settings.the power/torque normally starts dipping off before the redline so you have no benefit of increasing it

I did the set-up with baffle in as that was the customers request as I think it is very loud without the baffle
