Very clear explanation. Thank you. With hindsight, do you think you could have removed the baffle without removing the filter etc from the left hand side? I'm intending to do this and a remap on my 2014 SE in the spring.

Well, It can be done but the plastic baffle is made of a very rigid plastic. I wouldn't recommend forcing it out cause you might damage the brittle air flow sensor, baffle or baffle tracks. If you were to snap the baffle or tracks you might leave some debris in the air box which would probably end up in places you don't want.

So perfect! Thank you! But how do you get that top back screw off on the side panel? It’s completely blocked in by the frame?

I used channel locks from the side to slowly unscrew it in case anyone sees this!

It's an EFI bike, so the carbs house the throttle bodies I think. Thanks watching!

Is there a true need for the wide mouth intake vs just reinstalling the original without the snorkel??

@@Wesleycreardon Yes the new tune I used was mapped with the airbox being modified.

@bertsbike i mean as far as buying that "wide mouth" intake cover. It looked almost the same size as the circular opening piece that held the snorkel.

@@Wesleycreardon Yeah, I'm not 100% sure on the exact measurements but It was a little bigger than the original without the snorkel. It was also a little thicker and of better quality. But you're right. Not much bigger than the original. Since I went by the book on all the other mods, I went ahead and did the DNA filter with the suggested breather opening for the specific tune recommended by TTP.
