I've always had a soft spot for speedies. I think they are one of those bikes where the sum of the bike is better than the stats and such show. THey are a hoot to ride, and the 3cyl is fun on the street, it has so much mid range, it just pulls out of corners so easy.

Oh yes! Extremely smooth yet deceptively quick. Not sure what I was expecting but it is a very well put together machine!

Great bikes. The newer RS versions are bonkers. Love the sound of the engines, I had the Sprint GT with the triple. Great bike, smooth engine, loads of power and comfy seats. Used to get wrist ache with it though so it had to go. Nice review bud

I actually didn't feel any pressure on my wrists. But then again, I was only on it for 20 minutes or so. It might be different after a long ride. It did sound great!!

It's always weired riding a different bike for the first time. It takes a while to get used to it. You did a better job describing the feeling of riding it than I did when I rode a Triumph Scrambler.

LoL. Thanks! I had to keep reminding myself to keep talking while I was enjoying the ride. I was only on it about 20 to 30 minutes. So I was asking myself...( What would Exeter say if he was riding this!! ) 😂.

Only being on it for 20 or 30 minutes isn't long but it's long enough to feel what the bikes like and how it makes you feel,! Ahh mate, you can't beat the sound of a triple 1050, I loved the sound of the downshifts on my Sprint 1050. The speed triples can be a hell of ride, can be ridden very hooligan-ish You found neutral well, normally they are difficult to find neutral on, especially when they are warm 🤣 The only thing I never liked about those speed triples was the bug eye headlights, they just look a bit ugly to me 😬 The newer ones are absolutely crazy, you think this one had power, the new ones have power to spare 😁 Great video mate, hope you're doing well.

I actually been eyeing a new speed triple in the matte orange, possibly for a second bike. I think they are awesome bike. I just don't know how comfortable my old body will be on it though. 🤣🤣 Nice video 👍

I would have liked to have revved it out a bit more but since it wasn't my bike I didn't want to push it. I think you would love the speed Triple!! The power is very linear so no big surprises.

I cannot STAND seats that lean forward. I like engine braking on ice vehicles. Saves mega on the brakes. I wish my bike had regen. lol. It's always fun trying out other people's bikes, huh ?? Cheers, Kode !!

It does certainly lean forward a bit..but still comfy! I like a bit of engine braking myself when I'm going a little quicker. Not so much at slow speeds though, too herky jerky.
