The best rack in the world is the one that you can take off the quickest after using it for the weekend/holiday trip!! Handy, but best kept hung up in the garage in my opinion ha ha. Otherwise, like all of your bits and pieces (except maybe the headlamp protector?)

Clearly the most beautiful luggage option for the speed twin so far. Clean lines, flush against the stock bike seat. but why they don't make it fit with stock lights tho beats me

My guess is that they designed the rack to fit the euro spec bike since they are also a European company and didn’t consider how lame the US spec lights would be. Luckily for me I knew those turn signals would be gone ASAP when I first saw them.

@@AdamCroll how did you get the euro spec turn signal lights. My dealer said he was not supposed to order them. He told me he could try if I got him the parts numbers....no idea where I could get those

@@wunder8962 they are not actually euro spec, they are Rizoma. to find the part numbers id do a google deep dive, ive had found luck finding a few euro parts in the past that way.

Now if only we could get a backrest somewhere for the Street Twin. Wasn’t sure if the grab rail mounting kit/backrest for the Bonnie would mount up to the ST. Either that or the Corbin seat, doesn’t look like they make a Gunfighter & Lady seat for the ST. They do make a backrest seat for the Bonnie, not sure about the interchangeability of seats...

I’d have placed the Kriega loops on that frame under the seat and simply attach the their US range of bags to it... My favourite luggage.

@@TK-cl1jm I have a US20Ltr on the rear of the seat, loops wrapped around frame only, no rack fitted - toyed with the idea of a rack, but decided I wanted more space, so am about to fit kriega.com/modern-classic/saddlebag-duo-36-tri-combo

Do you bolt everything down with a torque wrench, according to Triumph manual? It looks like you used a regular wrench for bolting back the rear suspension bolts.

Adam. I notice you use the original hex-head bolt at the top of the shocks. My kit came with a separate pair of bolts with smaller heads that I don't think would look as good. But obviously if H & B think it needs different bolts they may have a reason. Not sure if they are the same length? How did you decide to use the originals? But thanks for the video in any case. Very easy to follow. And What A Bike Eh!!!??? :-)

Thanks for the wonderful video! I recently got a 2018 Bonneville Speedmaster and am thinking about installing a Hepco & Becker rear rack. Just curious, is this rack compatible with a hard plastic top case, as long as I have a universal mounting plate? Also, did the rack come with the lock tight (the blue glue thing you've put on) or did you buy them on your own? Thanks!

Hi Brother really need your guidance. I m looking to put The handlebar in my Triump speed twin. I have seen that the wire of clutch is little short I wanted your advice can I change the wire with the Triump scrambler 1200 because it has a bigger wire than the Triump speed twin. please advise.

The upper side bars of the rack look high on both sides of the number two part of the seat. What about the co-rider's but? Aren't those too narrow, too close to the seat? Really need to know. Thank you!

I’ve never had a passenger on this bike yet, if your passenger sat near the rear of the seat their legs or butt might touch the rack. I’m sure it really depends on how and where the passenger sits on it. Sorry I couldn’t be more help on that.

I am also curious about the Corbin seat fit. I like the US spec lights and have heard the HB rack is incompatible. Can you verify?

The rack will not fit with US spec tail lights, on their website they say so and lowered the price to reflect the fact that it’s a limiting factor. Luckily for me the US spec lights are long gone!

Givi has a rack that fits. Not as larger and tapers which follows the lines of the bike when not in use. Just saving and shopping for best price.

I have one that was sold at Costco a while back, it’s Battery Tender brand. I haven’t really had to use it on the speed twin so far though, seems triumph is good about phantom amperage draws on these new bikes. I’ve had it sit for over a week without any run time and it always has full voltage in the battery when I return.
