Bonneville T100 owner here. Interesting that you think the Speed Twin looks too modern because that is what exactly appeals to me. The T100/T120 hark back to a bygone era like a moden mock Tudor house. The Speed Twin looks like what it is, a modern sports bike for the 21st century.

With reference to the brake squealing issue, as a motocross rider, every time I bought a new bike before I rode it for the first time I would completely clean the rotors with brake cleaner using a scotch bright pad or brillo pad. Apparently, there is a protective coating on brand-new rotors to stop them from rusting before being sold. If this is left on the rotor this covering, when it heats up from using the brakes, can bond onto the brake pads, which causes the squealing. This will take a while to wear off and this is why it stops squealing after a time. I can't say for sure this is what Triumph does, but it may be worth doing with a brand-new bike.

The king of the Bonneville lineup is the Thruxton R or now the RS to me. Of course I'm impartial owner of a Thruxton R for almost six years.😁😁 Mine is a lovely candy apple red with gold leaf striping.

Hi Denis. I will check the audio recorder levels next time. Think it was an issue when it uploaded to KZbin for some reason the upload reduced audio volumes.

Hi there, I got my Speed Twin 3 weeks ago and I agree fully. Swapping the pee pod was the main change. Additionally I got the mud guard, the radiatorprotection and changed a few plastic parts against the cnc ones. I got lucky with the squeaking though. None at all. I'm more than satisfied with the decision to change from the Street Triple R to the Speed Twin. Looking forward to more videos. Keep it up!

I chose the Speed Twin for the value it has compared to the other twins in the Bonneville line. I'm already looking to load a hot tune into the ECU to get a bit more top end out of it. I've found that even this new Speed Twin is a bit lacking above 5000rpm when you wack the throttle. I went up to a 17 tooth countershaft sprocket to keep the Rs down, but it's still not quite there for me. From what I've heard, the factory tune is what holds 'em back. Can't wait to utilize the engines full potential.

Hi Jack, I am new to the group and have been following your vlog for a while. I am a big Triumph fan from Belgium. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to ride the Speed Twin yet, but I have had the chance to ride the Street Twin. But it really is a beautiful bike and the exhausts sound great.
